ACTIVITY 1 :Improving confidence and self-

esteem-The students will learn to handle speech in front of an audience through activities like oral presentations.

- They will create documents about their country, habits and school to show to other students from the partner schools.

Activity 2 :Identity and cultural diversity

● The students will learn about partner school countries. They will create posters about these countries and show them to other students in their school.

Journée des langues

(Special event « Day of languages » when the students showed posters of MESC partner countries)

Internet safety/ Cyber-bullying

The students will learn about the dangers of internet and will practise using internet websites

intelligently through video watching and searches in class.

They will create a classroom chart about how to use Internet in a responsible way in English to

show to other classes in the school.

Activity 4 :Individual rights and responsabilities

While preparing their trip to Portugal in May 2018, the group of students most involved in the project will learn how to behave abroad.

They will also be made aware of what is possible or not in the workplace while working to raise money for the trip.

Activity 5 :Personal challenges and working

towards goals● The students will create a card game to give to

partner school students.

The aim will be to gather information such as :

Typical food, landscapes, songs or dances, animals, clothes, sports, monuments, etc in the 6 other partner countries.

(Lithuania, Turkey, Italy, Portugal, England, Mainland France)

Activity 6 :First Aid

● Videos about first aid will be created

Activity 7 :Community action/volunteering/

working as part of a groupThrough different activities implemented in class, students will have to work in groups to achieve tasks.

i.e : creating a card game (gathering and organizing information)

Activity 8 :Environmental awareness

● A group of students from the « Ulis » class will participate in creating a nicer environment in the school playground with their teacher.

Activity 9 / 12:Using technology in the home and community/ Developing ICT skills

● Activities in the computer room will help students create documents using different websites and softwares

For example : creating presentations, cards etc..● A group of students will learn how to use Etwinning in a

collaborative activity.

Activity 10 :Managing stress and anxiety

● Students will learn how to manage their stress in public.● They will be made aware of how to behave in different sorts of social

contexts such as asking their way in English when they are lost abroad, etc..

Activity 11 :Communication

● Students will learn to communicate in English with other students abroad.

● The group of students most involved in the project will travel to Portugal and practise communicating in English with other classes.

Activity 13 :Managing social relationships

TRIP to PORTUGAL in May 2018● Students concerned will practise different social

situations and improve their skills abroad.

● Different speech activities in English will be carried out all through the school year in order to improve students abilities in social relationships such as behaving adequately in the workplace.
