The wife wanted to travel around the world. The fairy waved her wandand *poof* -- the wife had tickets in her hand for a world cruise. Next, the fairy asked thehusband what he wanted. Please consider the following for clari-fication of the email I sent out on TuesdayApril 28, 2015  Merritt BC: Arrests loom asNicola Valley Residents Vow to Stand Firm.

I sent this communication expressing mypersonal thoughts and did not send it on be-half of the Thompson Nicola Regional Dis-trict or any of its directors. The Directors werecc’d only to ensure transparency in my com-munication as I understand how importantour board considers being open to all sides of an issue in determining the appropriatecourse of action. My response was driven bymy concern for the constituents in the NicolaValley that have spent long hours expressingtheir feelings through assembly and action.

Despite what was an emotional plea forhelp to resolve this situation I remainclearly focused on the examination andcareful consideration of existing processesand procedures as well as all alternativesfor the future effective management of Biosolids in BC in order to determine whatis best for all that live, work and visit here.Should any issue, resolution, bylaw or otherdecision come before the TNRD Board forconsideration, determination or exercise of discretion I will carefully evaluate all posi-tions, information and considerations brought to the Board and I will continue to

have an open mind and be capable of per-suasion in my evaluation of such matters.April 28 [As the one of the TNRD local gov-

ernment representatives of the Regional District I am appalled by the BC government decision to re- fuse to negotiate with the group of concerned citi-zens against the poisoning and devaluing of theirlocal environment. By supporting the misguidedbusiness interests of a few they have set the stage for this confrontation. By taking the side of big busi-ness they have issued tacit approval to the sludgecompanies to garner supreme court approval of aninjunction that will force the issue. What insanity.

Do you not listen to the people of this province… stop the uncontrolled spread of Biowaste… decide to do this differently... how hard isthat… do not hide behind the outdated legislationand science that allows this arcane practice. Peopleall over the world are waking up to this insanity…if it is truly Beautiful BC that matters then take a

stand and make it so. Enough. Do not introducedangerous unknown products into the food chain.

Why take the risk? We have been here before, believed the science and paid the price. Pleasestop and listen, lets work out a solution that sup- ports future generations not endangers them].
