We choose the most beautiful: Frost and Potter Islands, which feature spectacular white beaches and huge fig trees. Day 5 & 6 We spend most of the day on the water, reading, relaxing, enjoying an occasional dip in the sea and gourmet cuisine sourced with local product. Since mid of December 2018 a brand new solar- powered SILENT 55 luxury catamaran is available for charter in the Mergui Archipelago in Myanmar. Traveling there is quite easy: In less than an hour you can fly from Bangkok three times per day to Ranong, which is right at the boarder to Myanmar and in sight from Kawthaung where the SILENT 55 is located. Just across the Thai border, the archipelago opened to foreigners as recently as the late 1990s. With only a few of the 800 islands sparsely populated, and several dozen visitors to the entire area each month, the Mergui Archipelago remains one of the planet’s most unspoiled destinations.
