Today my father said that we were going to one
of Austin's new colony's.
Most of the family was terrified of Indian attacks
but are father convinced us so we left.
I really did not want to leave are home.

So today we set of in the levelly it has been an
extremely hard trip so far but I feel we will get
there saftly.

Are new colony is called Victoria it is extremely
bountiful.
The lively has not come yet and winter is coming
soon I really hope it comes soon we need new
supplies.

Its really cold and some of are cattle has died but
we should be thankful are naber has lost most of
his cattle .
So far its been a bad year with all the snow.

Today we got news that the lively sank.
It was pretty sad scene it met we weren't going to
get are supplies.
But the good news is my father had a huge
bumper crop so we made a hole lot of money.

Today my father converted are family to
Catholicism and he said soon he was going to
convert are family to be Mexican citizens.
My father keeps bringing me to the field I don’t
want to but it makes him happy.

My father just made are last land payment he
was so happy .
And we made a another bumper crop in cotton .

So now my father had officially owned his 1920
acres of land.
And there was no Indian attacks this year thank
god .
It has been a good year my whole family is
happy.

So my father decided to stay here in Victoria.
He talked about how it was such a good choice
to come here.
