The Victorian Cleantech Cluster (VCC) is a not-for-profit member driven organisation with avision for Victoria to be the Southern Hemisphere capital for innovation, uptake andcommercialisation of clean technology. We are focused on building commercial outcomes forour members and strengthening Victoria's economy by boosting jobs in cleantech.
By providing support and advice, we help businesses expand their operations, effectivelycommercialise their products, find partnership and business opoprtunities and increase theirglobal connections and networks.

Clean technology is any product, service and process that
harnesses renewable materials and energy sources, that
reduces the use of natural resources to cut or eliminate
emissions and waste with the focus on finding solutions to
address environmental, energy, waste, air and water quality
issues.
Cleantech is integrated across many areas of the Victorian
economy including water, new energy, sustainable agriculture,
waste and recycling and transport.
The VCC wants to create a more connected, strengthened
cleantech industry by connecting organisations across these
sub-sectors.

terms & Conditions
All parties interested in becoming a member of the Victorian Cleantech Cluster (VCC) must
apply and make payment via the VCC TidyHQ membership management site. An invoice can be
requested if payment cannot be made through the TidyHQ platform however membership
detail must be collected via TidyHQ.
New memberships will be reviewed by the VCC Board at the monthly VCC Board Meeting. The
VCC Board reserves to revoke any membership which is deemed not to align with the values
and requirements of the VCC and any membership fees paid refunded. The VCC may require an
applicant to provide further information before making a determination on membership. If a
membership is revoked, written reasons will be provided by the Board and a
applicant can submit a brief written case for their membership to be reconsidered.
The VCC requires members, and all participants from member organisations, to comply with the
Victorian Cleantech Cluster Member Code of Conduct.
Membership with the Victorian Cleantech Cluster is open to organisations active in the Victorian
clean technologies sector. Specifically, membership is targeted at any organisation
headquartered in Victoria with an environmental technology, innovative IP or environmental
service that contributes to or benefits from the cleantech sector.
Organisations should be seeking to grow and apply their offering outside of Victoria and
principally outside of Australia. Additional membership categories exist for students or
companies with supporting products and services for the Victorian clean technologies sector.
Members shall be entitled to receive all benefits of membership relevant to their Member Level
as provided by the VCC Board and as otherwise determined by the Board from time to time.
Members (excluding Associate and Student members) receive voting rights at the Annual
General Meeting (AGM) according to their Member Level. Organisations will need to nominate a
representative as the primary contact for their membership, who will vote on behalf of the
member organisation. One membership is equal to one vote at the AGM. Member levels that
receive two AGM votes will nominate two representative members. Member organisations will
have the opportunity to change their nominated representative if necessary.

Membership Eligibility
Contribute to long-term benefits for Victoria’s cleantech and circular economy future
Conduct my business in accordance with the laws and regulations of the State in
which I operate.
Work safely and within best practice for the safety, health and wellbeing of my
employees, clients, suppliers and communities
Not be involved in corrupt practices, bribery, discrimination or similar improper
behaviour.
Show respect for the diverse range of people and cultures with whom I work and for
their human rights
Refrain from sexist, racist, ableist or homophobic language or any behaviour that
discrimates against others.
Act ethically and with integrity, decency and respect for the community and the
environment
Not speak on behalf of the VCC to the media or government, unless at the request of
the VCC Board.
The VCC has a Code of Conduct which provides an ethical and behavioural framework for
how VCC members should conduct business and relevant activities within the sector to
build a positive reputation and trust within the area they are operating.
This Code of Conduct outlines how VCC members are to relate to fellow VCC members,
industry, government and the community. The VCC requires that members behave in a
professional, ethical and positive manner. VCC members are to embody the highest level
of commercial integrity.
This Code of Conduct applies to all participants within a member organisation who
intend to partake in VCC activities.
