CUPERTINO Meg Whitman today announced two dozen Latino business leaders who areendorsing her campaign for governor. These leaders represent some of California's most successfuentrepreneurs, small business owners and civic leaders. Several have served in key governmentposts advocating for small business and manufacturing expansion.
"I'm so proud to announce this distinguished list of Latino business leaders who work hard everyday to improve California's business climate and recognize that there is no way out of our fiscalmess without strong, vibrant businesses that will hire Californians. And small businesses will leadthe way," Meg Whitman said.
"Meg Whitman, who spent a decade at eBay helping small businesses go online, is the only
candidate for governor who will stand up for those who aspire to turn California back into a placefor dreamers and doers," said Al Frink, an Orange County businessman who served as the nation'sfirst Assistant Secretary for Manufacturing and Services in the U.S. Department of Commerce.
"From my vantage point, once as a young business leader and later as the first Assistant Secretaryfor Manufacturing and Services, I see in Meg a candidate who understands how to create jobs,encourage small business and lead California back.
