- Latest research confirms thatinternational association sector is still verystable

- ICCA is promoting heavily the importanceof membership as the most cost-effectiveway to interact and win business



-BOD working on 5 year timescale –building new Financial Projection Model

- Major review of Articles and By-laws,implications of big-picture shifts ineconomic, societal, technologicalenvironments

- Will be making sure our governance andbusiness models are able to takeadvantage of the changes that are coming



-More communicating with members to find outindividual needs, including

- If new client-supplier workshops are needed

- How effective the new website is

- Geographically specific requirements:education and new business opportunities

- Detailed surveys to be conducted



-ICCA has signed a contract with UIA tomake complementary information on int’lassociations available via the ICCA website

-Over 4000 ICCA event series will be linkedup with UIA data, starting in either lateDecember or January



-New Asia-Pacific Regional Directorappointed in July – Noor Ahmed Hamid

-Two new researchers have been recruitedin the Asia Pacific Office bringing team upto 4



-One speaking slot available in the “What’snew? What’s hot? What’s happening”session on Monday at 1415

- 5 minute presentations followed bychairing discussion on round table foranyone who wants to discuss with speakers



-Three speaking slots available for “Greenmeetings” session on Wednesday 1045

- Same 5 mins presentation format plusround table discussion



-BOD reviewing draft of first ICCA CSRreport for 2008, to be posted on websiteshortly after Congress

-ICCA has signed up to Global ReportingInitiative standards for sustainabilityreporting
