The Treasure Hunt

Treasure Hunt is a Teambuilding activity played in teams .Each team will be given a Treasure Hunt Kit which contains the map of the location where the

game will take place and the first clue which will lead the teams to further clues. Each clue will be hidden by our team regarding the pre-inspection before the game.

The clues will be found by solving some cryptic codes from the questions asked on spot or by finding the whole object from a given photo and the will be led to the final Treasure at the end.

This activity will help the corporate employers/managers to create a synergy by working in teams as well as individual brain storming.

Number of teams: At least 5 teams. Ideally up to 10 teamsNumber of team member: Each team would be 5-10 paxDuration: At least 1 hr. The duration will extend depending on the number of teams.Locations which can be played at: Grand Bazaar(closed on Sudays), Sultanahmet Sq and its surrounding, Topkapi Palace(closed on Mondays), Yildiz Park(located in Besiktas – Bosphorus Embankment).

Dragon Boat

Dragon Boat is a human-powered watercraft traditionally made of teak wood to various designs and sizes, in the Pearl River delta region of southern China. It has been popular since 10 years

for competition events. Dragon boats are generally rigged with decorative Chinese Dragon heads and tails. At other times such as training the decorative regalia is usually removed, although the

drum often remains aboard for practice by drummers.In Istanbul the events take place in Golden Horn. This is really a motivative and energy boosting

team activity which enables corporates to act as a team in order to win.

Number of teams: Ideally 5 teams.Number of team member: Each team would be 17 pax (16 rowers + 1 drummer)Duration: At least 2 hrs. The duration will extend depending on the number of teams.Locations which can be played at: Golden Horn.Season: The ideal season would be from April till September.

Horse Riding

This activity can be rather considered as individual. However there are horse riding clubs in Istanbul where they accept the groups upon their avilability and with a tutor they give lessons

to the attendees. This would be a nice way to recognise how the attendees would deal and compromise with situations which are stronger and (by size) more huge than a human being

such as a horse in this case…

Number of attendees: 15 pax maximum.Duration: At least 1 hr of tutorial. For the experienced riders ,a seaside excursion at the BlackSea coast of Istanbul is also applicable.Locations which can be played at: Sariyer and its surrounding.Season: The ideal season would be from May till September.

Ebru (water marbling) workshopEbru is a method of aqueous surface design, which can produce patterns similar to smooth marble or other stone. The patterns

are the result of color floated on either plain water or a viscous solution known as size, and then carefully transferred to an absorbent surface, such as paper or fabric.

Through several centuries, people have applied marbled materials to a variety of surfaces.It is often employed as a writing surface for calligraphy, and especially book covers and endpapers in bookbinding and

stationery. Part of its appeal is that each print is a unique monotype. In the sized-based method, colors made from pigments are mixed with a surfactant such as ox gall.

Sometimes, oil or turpentine may be added to a color,to achieve special effects. The colors are then spattered or dropped onto the size, one color after another, until there is a dense pattern of several colors. Straw from the broom corn was used to make a

kind of whisk for sprinkling the paint, or horsehair to create a kind of drop-brush.Each successive layer of pigment spreads slightly less than the last, and the colors may require additional surfactant to float and

uniformly expand. Once the colors are laid down, various tools and implements such as rakes, combs and styluses are often used in a series of movements to create more intricate designs.

This activity is suitable for groups who enjoy from experiencing unique hand carfts and it’s very popular among European incentive tourists. We can also take the pieces that is made the attendees just after the works are dry. (It takes 1-3 hrs to dry depending on the winter/summer period)Number of attendants: Ideally up to 15 pax.Duration: At least 1 hr. The duration will extend depending on the attendees’ works.Locations which the workshop can take place: Caferaga Madrasah (Sultanahmet Sq.)Season: The Madrasah is open the whole seasons. For groups over 5 pax the event should take place in the courtyard of the Madrasah. Regarding this detail this activity is ideal during not cold and not rainy weather.
