Welcome to our autumn eventscalendar for Medway's libraries.

Libraries have so much to offer you, ourresidents. From the regular events we holdfor children to the special activities thatare organised for families and talks foradults, there is so much to choose from.It’s autumn break at the end of October,

so we have plenty planned to keep thechildren busy, including lots ofworkshops, arts and crafts sessions andmore. Our talks this season are varied andreally quite interesting, definitely worthfurther investigation. This autumn alsosees Black History Month runningthroughout October and we haveactivities in our libraries as part of this.

This booklet also tells you about regularsessions that are held in our libraries, aswell as the opening times and addressesfor all our branches. New to this issue areclubs and activities that are held inMedway's libraries that are organised bythe community. There really is so muchgoing on.

It's free to join a Medway library, so popin this autumn. Not only that but withfree use of PCs that have internet access,an ever expanding range of consolegames, DVDs and the introduction of blu-rays to our libraries, there has never beena better time to visit one. Of course, wehave thousands of books, including thelatest titles.

We value what our customers have totell us and your feedback helps us shapethe activities we provide.
