AUDIENCEHow do I appeal to my audience? – Front Cover I used a photo of Springsteen on the front
cover as he is a respected musician from that genre.
I also listed other respected musicians down the side of the page to create the same effect.
By having “Exclusive Interview” on the front cover.
Having smaller pictures across the top – eye-catching.
The colour juxtaposing the black & white photo on the front cover.
AUDIENCEHow do I appeal to my audience? – Contents I list the articles chronologically, making it
easier to find a particular one. Also, I have a separate section for the cover
story – again making it easier to navigate.
AUDIENCEHow do I appeal to my audience? – DPS The article is an in-depth interview with
Springsteen, which was the most popular feature in my research.
TECHNOLOGYPhotoshop – how to put a head in front of the t it le Firstly select the magnetic lasso
tool. Take this tool round the head. Once it has went around the whole
head double click and press CTRL + J (to create a new layer).
Then simply drag the new layer (that is the head) and place it at the top of the layers, and will now cover the logo.
DISTRIBUTIONWhere can I distribute my magazine? Internet – social networking, YouTube,
Rolling Stone/Mojo web sites. Inside other magazines. The radio – eg Radio 2 and Radio 6.
