    Advertising Information Service (AIS)

    What is AIS?

    The industry currency for advertising expenditure in the Philippines. Itprovides TV, Radio and Print monitoring reports which enablessubscribers to analyze competitors advertising strategies as well as to

    track execution of ad campaigns vis--vis what was planned.

    Monitoring (Y2011) Coverage

    TV (Metro Manila) 25 TV Stations (7 VHF, 3 UHF, 15 Sky Cablechannels) are monitored Mon-Sun from 6am-12mn (except for ABS-CBN, GMA and TV5)

    Radio - 8 Areas, 110 radio stations monitored from 6am-9pm

    Print - 24 Newspapers and 50 magazines are monitored

    Jan-Sep 2011 Highlights for TVRP plus OOHOverall growth in spend for traditional media is 15%, TV is posting 77% share on total

    Advertisers continue to support TV with more coming in compared to same periodlast year, as it become stronger with increased spend, spots and minutes

    Radio and Print both improved in spend however still short to outdo last yearsspots

    Nestle and LOreal continue to lead the advertisers with most growth YOY

    With growing business in events, concerts and entertainment, new player enteredtop 20 advertisers, Ovation Production

    Most of the product categories are using celebrity endorsers. Kris Aquino turnedout the top TV endorser followed by John Lloyd Cruz

    OOH Billboard advertising is stable despite storms along the way
