The EDISONREPORT was founded in 1999 by Randy Reid. The company has since expanded to include EdisonReport.eu and EdisonReport.tv. EdisonReport is the leading source of news and information in the lighting industry. We provide the most cost-effective method for introducing your product, advertising, employment opportunities, and more. In addition we conduct interviews with key executives and innovators in the field. We attend and provide news coverage at major lighting trade shows. At EdisonReport, lighting industry buzz starts here.

Randy has been instrumental in shaping the lighting industry. In 2001-2003, he served as President of the Illuminating Engineering Society. Randy was a member of the LIGHTFAIR Management Committee and served on the LIGHTFAIR Advisory Committee in 2006. He was Chairman for the IES Annual Conference in 2010 and received the President’s Award in 2011. He is the owner of LumEfficient Lighting, a Light Emitting Plasma™ and LED company. Randy is a retired Lieutenant Colonel of the U.S. Army Reserve. He holds a B.S. in Business from the University of Alabama and a MBA from the University of Tennessee.
