The MyCiTi Airport station is right on the doorstep of the main Airport terminal with level access directly into the arrivals and departures hall for both domestic and international flights.

The route operates between the Airport station and Civic Centre station in the city centre with onward transfers every 30 minutes on weekdays from 05:00 to 21:30, and on weekends from 06:00 to 21:30.

Transfers between the Airport and the city offer great value for money, and getting one of MyCiTi's multi-day travel packages also offers the opportunity to visit many of Cape Town’s top tourism sites and leisure destinations. Get a Single-Trip CardTravellers who only need a MyCiTi connection to or from the Airport can get a Single-Trip Card for R85. Single-Trip Cards are valid for one journey, including transfers to other routes, and does not require you to purchase a myconnect card.

You need a myconnect card to travel on the MyCiTi service as cash is not accepted on board. You can buy a myconnect card for R35 from a MyCiTi station kiosk.
