    Overview

MDVR, part number IPS700A, is a medical digital video recorder from FSN Medical Technologies.

It is intended to record and store video and still images from operating devices for later playback

    or transfer to other media.

MDVR is an advanced high quality video processing system that has built-in capabilities for

signal source selection and multiple resolutions. MDVR is controlled through an Android app. (for

RS232C or TCP/IP control, please consult the manufacturer).

Recording medical digital video is easy with MDVR. An accompanying control tablet runs the in-

tuitive user interface and gives quick access to options for setup, recording, capture, le storage,

patient information, play back, and data backup functions.

In addition, capture and recording can be controlled through an endoscopic camera head but-tons or a foot pedal accessory.

All recorded les are stored on MDVR’s internal hard disk drive. These stored les can then

be played back on a display monitor, or restored to variety of media including external drives,

memory sticks, DVDs, Blu‐ray disks, and network servers.

All MDVR inputs correspond with universal standards that accept VGA, DVI‐D (up to 1920x1080

resolution), composite video, and S‐video inputs.

    DO NOT OPEN

This symbol alerts the user that important literature concerning the operation of this unithas been included. Therefore, it should be read carefully in order to avoid potential problems.

This symbol warns the user that un-insulated voltage within the unit may have sufficient

magnitude to cause electrical shock. Therefore, it is dangerous to make contact with any part

    inside the unit.

To reduce the risk of electric shock, DO NOT remove cover (or back). There are no user service-

able parts inside. Refer servicing to qualied service personnel.

To prevent re or shock hazards, do not expose this unit to rain or moisture. Also, do not use this

unit’s polarized plug with an extension cord receptacle or other outlets unless the prongs can be

    fully inserted.

The equipment is designed to meet the medical safety requirements for a patient vicinity device.

This device may not be used in connection with life support equipment.

    Underwriters Laboratories (UL) Classication:

UL safety Compliance: This system is U.L. Classied WITH RESPECT TO ELECTRIC SHOCK, FIRE AND MECHANICAL HAZ-

ARDS ONLY IN ACCORDANCE WITH UL 60601-1/CAN/CSA C22.2 NO. 601.1

    EEC Safety Compliance:

This system meets the requirements of EN-60601-1 so as to conform to the Medical Device Direc-

tive 93/42/EEC (general safety information). Use 120V rating 5-15P type plug only in the U.S. This
