    BRONZE KEY AWARD To: Caroline County Commonwealth Attorney Tony Spencer

    After receiving his bachelors and law degrees from U.V.A Tony Spencer was admitted to the New York State Bar in March 1984. For five years, he worked in corporate planning and litigation in New York City. In 1990,he moved back to Virginia and joined the law firm of Morchower, Luxton & Whaley, where he was engagedprimarily as a criminal defense attorney. From 2002 through the end of 2005, he served as Deputy Commonwealth'sAttorney for the City of Richmond, and in November 2007, he was elected the Commonwealths Attorney of Caroline County.

    Mr. Spencer is very happily married to the former Danielle Duffy, and together they have a beautifuldaughter, Josie, who is almost four.

    Virginia Delegate Bill Janis

    Delegate Bill Janis has spent his life in the arena of public service. As the grandson of immigrants, Bill was the first member of his family to graduate from college, attending the Virginia MilitaryInstitute on a Navy ROTC scholarship. After 11 years of service, Bill left the Navy as a Lieutenant Commander andentered the University of Virginia Law School. While studying, he worked in the Commonwealths Attorneysoffices of both Albemarle and Henrico Counties. Bill was admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginiain January 2000. I n November 2001, Bill Janis was elected to the House of Delegates to represent the 56th Districtin the seat once held by Patrick Henry. Comprising the counties of Louisa, Goochland, and the northwestern cornerof Henrico, the 56th District spans Central Virginia from the dynamic suburban neighborhoods of Wyndham,Wellesley, and Twin Hickory, through the rapidly growing areas of West Creek Parkway and Short Pump, to therural farms and fields of Goochland and Louisa Counties.

    Delegate Bill Janis serves on the House Courts of Justice, Commerce & Labor, Privileges & Elections and Militia,Police & Public Safety Committees. He serves as the Chairman of the House Sub-Committees on HomelandSecurity, Judiciary and Constitutional Amendments.

    Mr. McAuliffe is the Chairman of GreenTech Automotive. Before joining GTA, Mr. McAuliffe has been alongtime business leader and successful entrepreneur for nearly four decades. He has successfully started over twodozen companies in the fields of banking, real estate, securities, marketing, renewable energy and insurance. At theage of 14, Mr. McAuliffe started his first business, McAuliffe Driveway Maintenance, where he sealed residentialdriveways and commercial parking lots in his local community of Syracuse, New York. In January 1988, when hewas only 30 years old, Mr. McAuliffe became the youngest chairman of a federally chartered bank in the history of the United States.

    Mr. McAuliffe also served as Chairman of American Heritage Homes, one of Floridas largest homebuildingcompanies, as well as President of American Capitol Management Company, a major developer of real estateprojects. He has been an active investor in the alternative energy field for over a decade.

    In addition to his successful business career, he is a longtime political leader for the Democratic Party in the UnitedStates. He was elected Chairman of the Democratic National Committee from 2001 to 2005. In 2009, heunsuccessfully ran for Governor of the State of Virginia.

    Terry received a Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University School of Law and a Bachelors degree from TheCatholic University of America in Washington, D.C. He lives in McLean, Virginia with his wife, Dorothy, and theirfive children.

    2010 SUCCESSES:

    On average 1,000 consumers came through McShin a week.

    We field over 100,000 phone calls a year

    McShin provides Continuing Education Units through our Peer Leadership Training courses.

    There were 151 graduates of the Peer Leadership Training class

    Our 2010 Springs Awards Banquet honored Rubicon, Inc. with the Bronze Key Award, 250people attended.

    Our annual pool party hosted by John & Kathy Rueger had over 200 in attendance.

    In September we had our 6 th Annual Recovery Fest and KCBS BBQ Cook off. There were over

    7,000 in attendance. Judy Collins was our special guest.

    In October our golf tournament was held with about 120 golfers attending.

    McShin sponsored Recovery Month events in Big Stone Gap, Shenandoah, and Bowling Green,VA each weekend of September and reached hundreds of people

    We raised over $4,000.00 at our Holiday Party/Silent Auction in 2010.

    McShin is leading the effort for a Call to Action, Recovery Caucus for the members of Virginias
