The automatic resetting Auto-Set® model FSFD are vertical coiling fire and smoke rateddoors. When activated the fire door self-closes without theaid of electricity or battery back-up. Unlike conventional firedoor designs, the rate of descent is controlled by acentrifugal governor at a rate of 6 to 9 inches per second andonce power is re-energized, the fire alarm or smokedetection signal has cleared, the fire door automaticallyresets without the need of any tools or a technician. Auto-Set® fire doors are easily tested and automatically reset.
