For over twenty-five years McGregor Boyall has been successfully delivering professional recruitment services to a national and international client base from our London office. We are now bringing the same high levels of service to the Middle East region from our office in Dubai.

Richard Lett Regional Director, Middle East

Richard graduated from Durham University in 1996 with a BA in Arabic with Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies. For the past fifteen years, Richard has been specialising in financial services recruitment both in London and the Middle East. His personal track record includes multiple successful placements at a mid to senior level across banking and financial services. Most recently these have been across Global Markets, Wholesale Banking, Treasury and Global Markets, Asset Management, Risk Management, Compliance and IT. Prior to moving to the region, Richard headed the banking division of one of the City’s leading financial services recruitment firms in London. Richard is Regional Director and responsible for McGregor Boyall’s Middle East operations based from Dubai, DIFC. He lives with his wife and two sons in Dubai.

Stuart SmithAssociate Director, Banking & FS

Stuart started his career in recruitment with an international brand leader in June 2006, based in the UK, placing qualified senior finance professionals into the banking and commerce & industry sectors. He transferred to the Middle East at the start of 2008 with a mandate to establish their banking and financial services business in Qatar. The business quickly became the clear market leader and retained that position throughout his entire tenure. He was a consistent top international biller and has an enviable record of success with the well known local, boutique and international banks and operates at a C-Suite and Senior Executive level. Whilst his main focus since arriving in the Middle East has always been the Qatar market, he has also successfully placed people in diverse locations such as Libya and Sudan, working with mature and newly established entities - and even those that are yet to start trading.

Giles ButtonPractice Leader, Banking & Financial Services

Giles graduated from Swansea in 1996 with a BA in Business Studies. For the past ten years, Giles has focussed on financial services recruitment across Europe, Asia and Middle East from mid level through to ‘C’ level management roles. Giles has a wealth of experience recruiting primarily on Investment, Corporate, Treasury and Wealth Management roles on both contingent and retained assignments. He has lived and worked not only in the UK, but Tokyo and now Dubai, giving him an appreciation for different cultures and sensitivities around the world. Giles is a Senior Consultant within the Dubai team and responsible for helping grow McGregor Boyall’s footprint across the MENA region. He is married and lives in Dubai with his wife and daughters.

Nicola McCartHead of Commerce & Industry

Nicola graduated in 1998 with a BSc Mathematics for Business Analysis and in 1999 MSc (dist) in Logistics. She began her career in recruitment, working through the ranks from trainee recruitment consultant to Director. Nicola has been successful in setting up a number of profitable supply chain divisions in both the UK and the UAE. In September 2010 Nicola came to Dubai and worked for Morgan McKinley where she established their Commerce & Industry desk with a focus on Supply Chain recruitment. In 2012 she established Hamilton Recruitment in the UAE. Nicola’s drive and passion for Logistics and Supply Chain lead her to establish ‘Women in Logistics Middle East’; this is a not for profit organisation based in Dubai in partnership with the Institute of Logistics, with the remit to develop and encourage women in the field of Logistics throughout the Middle East.

Sami QureshiHead of Legal, Middle East

Sami joined McGregor Boyall in 2012 to oversee the legal and compliance function for the Middle East team, having been a legal and compliance recruiter in the region since 2008. Prior to coming to Dubai Sami was based in New York, where she spent three years with a leading international recruitment firm. Sami has a proven track record having consistently recruited Senior Lawyers and Compliance Officers within regional institutions, multi-national corporations and top tier law firms. Prior to her career in legal recruitment, Sami practiced as a litigator in Manhattan for several years. She graduated from a top tier law school in Washington, DC and completed her LL.M from Fordham University in New York. Sami is admitted to practice in both the state of New York and Washington, D.C.

Reinier KasperHead of Finance, Accounting & Audit Practice

Reinier heads up the Finance, Accounting & Audit practice for McGregor Boyall which specialises in the recruitment of mid to senior level finance professionals across Financial Services as well as Commerce & Industry. His personal track record includes multiple successful placements in Financial Services, Oil & Gas, Retail & Hospitality, FMCG as well as Professional Services. Some examples of mandates he has worked on are; CFO, Finance Director, Internal Audit Manager, roles across Financial Planning & Analyses as well as newly qualified roles across financial accounting and management accounting.

Prior to McGregor Boyall, Reinier managed the Financial Services division for a global, US-listed recruitment firm as well as the international search division for one of the City’s leading recruitment firms in London. With over eight years of experience in UK & Europe and over five years of experience in the Middle East, Reinier brings a wealth of experience as well as a solid network of candidates and clients. Reinier graduated from a leading University in the Netherlands with a Bsc in Marketing Management.

Oliver Mitchell-FoxSenior Finance, Risk and Audit Practice

Oliver started his recruitment career in 2011 with one of the UK’s leading financial recruitment agencies, specialising in the areas of Audit, Governance and Risk across the competitive London market. He then spent a number of years recruiting within the Oil and Gas industry, headhunting niche engineering skill sets to fill assignments from some of the world’s most well renowned oil operators across a variety of global locations including the Middle East, Europe and South America. After moving to Dubai in 2013 Oliver joined a world leading fortune 500 engineering consultancy and contractor to be part of their in-house recruitment team and successfully recruited over 100 members of staff for their Middle Eastern business across both their corporate and engineering functions.

Oliver is a Durham University Graduate with a BA in Sociology and a Diploma in Computer Science. He has a rare and unique blend of in-house and agency recruitment experience across multiple sectors and locales. Returning to the sector in which he started his recruitment career, Oliver has joined McGregor Boyall with the remit of continuing to grow the finance, governance, audit and risk sectors.

Marea O’TooleHead of HR & Talent Management Recruitment

Marea is a Middle East recruitment specialist with five years’ regional exposure in the Executive Search space. Marea joined McGregor Boyall having worked on numerous local and global mid to senior level mandates. Throughout her career she has worked in partnership with many major global brands, firms and also various regional small medium enterprises. Marea has a particularly strong network in the UAE with excellent relationships underpinned by her years of experience.

Prior to McGregor Boyall, Marea focused on senior level appointments primarily within legal; private practice, Fortune 500 companies and top tier local companies. Her regional footprint includes successful assignments in the UAE, KSA, Qatar, Egypt, Bahrain and North Africa.

Marea joins McGregor Boyall to focus on building the Human Resources and Talent Management practice for the MENA region.
