massage, and gave an overview of body systems and muscles. She even demonstrated a few massage

Green Mean Growing Machines April, 2011 - We picked a club name and decided to meet the first Saturday of each month at 3:00 pm. We
reviewed the 4H pledge, discussed community service projects and if we were going to complete one or two
projects. We will take field trips to an organic farm in Alpha, Peacefield Gardens and Piazza Farm in
Lopatcong. We reviewed our project record books and talked about setting a goal for ourselves. We will
create a club website. Mrs. Alayne Torretta, the County 4H agent, also paid our club a visit.
Our next meeting will be May 7th, Saturday at 3:00 at the club leader’s house.
Next meeting’s topics will be our personal goal from our project book, planning a garden, building a
compost bin, creating a publication about organic gardening, voting on officer positions and deciding on
whether to have dues or plan for donations. Completing the club bylaws. Deciding on entering an exhibit in
the county farmers’ fair.
