NOURISHING HEALTHY EATING FOR YOUR KIDS Online or RWC: May 29 Whether you are stuck in a mealtime rut, or prepping for the next stage of eating in your house, this class will surely offer a variety of ideas to get nutrition back on the plate. Note: This class focuses on parents of one to eight year olds, but all are welcome. 12 – 1 p.m. All classes are FREE! Encourage your coworkers to join you! Register at www.smcgov.org/lms . BABIES & YOU PRENATAL HEALTH PROMOTION PROGRAM  RWC: June 12, 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Currently expecting? Planning a pregnancy or adoption? Join our team of instructors in this daylong workshop. The 1st session will cover what to expect during pregnancy, healthy lifestyle choices, parenting roles, and an overview of labor & delivery.

BABIES & YOU PRENATAL HEALTH PROMOTION PROGRAM  On Day 2, our team of instructors will cover what to expect when baby comes home! RWC: June 19, 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. The 2nd session will cover what to expect after the baby comes home, postpartum & infant care basics, home & car safety, breastfeeding basics, and a review of County benefits and programs for moms and dads.

 

FITTING IN FITNESS 2000 Alameda: June 25, 12 – 1 p.m. "I'm too busy." Sound familiar? If you're a busy person who wants a workout plan that works with your schedule, then this class is for you. Join Instructor Dawn Rollandi for this interactive class where you will learn how to maximize 20 minutes (or two 10-minute increments) with your full-body workout for the day.

WELLNESS AT ANY AGE 50+ age group SMMC: June 26, 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Whether you're 25 or 65, staying healthy is key to living your best life. This age-specific class will cover what we should know about our current health and help us move to doing what allows us to feel our best.

CONQUER THE HEALTH CLUSTER   2000 Alameda: July 17 You will have a chance to win a door prize and an opportunity to schedule a free 1-on-1 Wellness coaching with our Wellness Coach. Metabolic syndrome is often undetected and untreated. We’ll cover the five conditions—waist circumference, cholesterol, triglycerides, glucose, and blood pressure—plus goal-setting. 12 – 1 p.m.
