DISTRICT SECRETARY-TREASURER Tom Goins

DISTRICT SUPERINTENDENT H. Franklin Cargill

I stand amazed at the awesomeness of the God whom I serve! Not only does He deserve the credit for all of my wood, hay, and stubble but He is worthy of my sacrifice of praise and my submission to a lifetime of service. When I think about the Lord and all He has done for me, no words are more adequate than those contained in a hymn written by Fredrick Martin Lehman in 1917:

“Could we with ink the ocean fill, and were the skies of parchment made, were every stalk on earth a quill, and every man a scribe by trade, to write the love of God above, would drain the ocean dry. Nor could the scroll contain the whole, though stretched from sky to sky.”

This past year will be recorded as one of the most significant periods during the history of the Oklahoma District. Construction began at a rapid pace on the facilities that will house the NEXT Generation of students. Buildings have sprung from the prairie and the dream of the new camp has taken shape. A tremendous amount of site preparation, sixteen cabins designed

to accommodate 64 individuals each, and the form of the 22,000 square foot Dining Center have all become a reality!

With active construction, fund-raising became a priority. The NEXT Generation Capital Campaign was introduced by means of banquets held in each of our 14 sections. Churches, families, and individuals have caught the vision. Thanks to every pastor that has joined in this promotion; however, additional pledges are urgently needed in order to achieve such an ambitious goal. Together – great days are ahead for Sparks Camp!

In addition to the daily demands of office administration, Linda and I have been privileged to minister in many of our Oklahoma churches, district and sectional events, as well as invitations throughout our world. A personal highlight this past year was the opportunity for ministry in Cuba. What an exciting outpouring of God’s Spirit throughout that nation! We have launched a project through Light for the Lost for the training of hundreds of Cuban pastors. God has given us an open

door to touch our world next door.

It continues to be my privilege to represent Oklahoma through service on numerous boards and committees connected with the General Council as well as institutions of higher education. As I travel, I am always proud of Oklahoma’s involvement in the arena of world missions and the Assemblies of God Fellowship.

Thank you, for the many blessings this District has extended to Linda and me in allowing us to fulfill God’s call upon our lives. We are honored to serve you and we never take this season of our lives lightly or for granted.

Respectfully submitted and honored to serve,

H. Franklin CargillOklahoma District Superintendent

The year 2010 has truly been an exciting year.  It is a joy to see the unity and fellow-ship of the great Oklahoma District Council.  Every meeting has brought us together to worship our Lord and to have fellowship with the Family of God.  This has truly been an example of Christian love as we have enjoyed the support and faithfulness of you wonderful people.  This truly is an ex-ample of what the church should be.This year has placed our District over the top in every area of ministry and giving.  We have more credentialed ministers in 2010 than any year in the history of the Oklaho-

ma District.  We have more churches than every before.  The financial giving of our ministers and churches has reached record amounts.  All of this speaks of the spiritual health of the Oklahoma District Council.  I feel in my heart, this only the beginning of what God has in store for us in these coming years.

I have had the privilege of attending all General Council and District Council pres-byters meetings.  Also it has been a joy to be in many of our sectional meetings as well as services in our local churches. Continued on Page 4

Executive Administrator Jack Salkil

The last few months have certainly been a learning experience for both Faye and me. Even though we have been in District office for over twenty years we found that the learning curve for new ministry is indeed challenging.

As you all know we have been asked to come along side of our District Superintendent and serve as the Executive Administrator for the District. It was not a lack of love for what we were doing as District Christian Education Director but we felt that realignment was needed within all of our departments.

I think that we can all agree that this realignment has proven not only necessary but extremely beneficial to the ministry of the local church.

Reflecting back I look at the many opportunities given to Faye and me as we have served in this office. I have been made aware of the many challenges and the tremendous load that Brother Cargill and his staff carry. I am also reminded of the tremendous job that is accomplished by those working directly with him, especially Barbara Miller who serves as his administrative assistant.

We have had the privilege of sharing ministry with many of you as a guest minister. Also, we have been privileged in

traveling across the great state working in each of the sections in Sectional Council, Next Generation Banquets, LFTL banquets and other District meetings. We have worked with the AOG universities attending the student banquets. I had the privilege of going to Cuba to analyze the ministry of the Bible School and to see what we can do as a district to serve the students.

We have assisted in coordinating and serving as coach in the School of Ministry. School of Ministry is a tremendous ministry that provides necessary training to the men and women that are seeking credentials or desirous in furthering their knowledge in the Word of God.

One of our great thrills has been to work with the local churches as we attempted to answer some of the questions given to us by their leadership. Also of working with the revolving fund as we tried to provide funding for the churches who have wanted to expand facilities, relocate or start a new work.

We are blessed working with the PK ministry. This is such an awesome group of young men and women. We were able to coordinate the PK retreat and to begin planning new ministries such as PK mission’s trips, outings and other opportunities

Of course the greatest blessing and could I say the greatest challenge has been the development and construction of the new camp at Sparks. This 13.5 million dollar project is going to be second to none in design and in décor. It is going to be a beautiful facility but more important it is going to be a location that lives can be changed, empowered by the Holy Spirit, called into ministry and challenged to serve God in a Godless world.

It has been our desire and commitment to come along side of our District Pastor and his wife, Brother and Sister Cargill, and to intentionally and purposefully lighten the load of this office. Thank you for giving us this opportunity and showing such tremendous support to both Faye and myself.

Respectfully submitted,

Jack SalkilDistrict Exectutive Administrator

I am so excited about our new Sparks Youth Camp.  The experience of being on the property and watching the new buildings under construction is a thrill I can’t explain.  Just to think that we are building a sacred place for our youth and children to experi-ence the presence and touch of God.  I can only imagine how many will be called into full time ministry.  Also how many will ex-perience the touch of God for the very first time.  How many will be filled with the Bap-tism in the Holy Spirit.  We are truly building a revival center for the youth of Oklahoma.  We need to build this magnificent camp as quickly as possible. The Next Generation

Partners is a tremendous ministry and ev-eryone can have a part.

Tom GoinsDistrict Secretary-Treasurer

Missions DirectorLindell Warren

As I reflect on the long fiscal year (16months), I find myself having traversed the departmental changes, and moving ahead with new ministry parameters for the District Missions Department. Men’s Ministry has moved to Church Ministries, with Royal Rangers going to Children’s Ministry. Church Planting now resides with a part-time leader and committee. Besides the established Missions Department responsibilities I now have Church Transformation, oversight of the district affiliated churches, and all the ethnic and cowboy churches, along with the approval process for them.

Upon invitation, I have spoken or participated in eight different mission conventions; six home mission churches; two cowboy church conferences; one service at the Tex-Ok-La Indian Camp, a church merger celebration; Eddie Warrior women’s prison in Taft; a volunteer prison workers meeting; and numerous fill-ins. Also, my preaching assignments have included doing three funerals. I attended nine other funerals.

In making the transition placable I continued helping with Light For The Lost through 2010. I conducted six LFTL fundraising banquets in each of the past

two Octobers. Upon invitation I attended the National Men’s Ministries and LFTL Conference in February 2010. Also, I attended the first day of Royal Rangers Pow-Wow with the night Council-Fire service being a transference of leadership declaration. I applaud and support Darren Pilcher, Dean Guthrie and Ron Meador in their assignments, and in those areas of ministry I used to direct.

Ministries that I provide oversight to include Chi Alpha Campus Ministries, Deaf Ministry, Native American Ministry, Prison Ministry, Spanish Ministry, other ethnic ministries, Church Transformation ministry, and cowboy churches. I actively support the Reach The World Auction and the Veteran’s Ministry.

The committees or boards that I chair or am a member of include the Missions Committee, the Campus Evangelism Committee, the South Central Deaf Committee, the Tex-Ok-La Indian Camp Committee, the District Missionary Screening Committee, the Oklahoma Teen Challenge Board, the American Indian College Board of Regents, the National Cowboy Church Fellowship Board, the District Credentials Committee, and of course, the District Presbytery Board.

I participated in Heritage Days, District Council, some Sectional Councils, and some departmental special events. I represented the District Missions Department at the student banquets in Waxahachie, Texas and Springfield, Missouri. I organized the All-District Missions Banquet in conjunction with District Council and the Oklahoma District Dinner in Springfield for all our missionaries home on itineration. Once again, it was my honor to participate in the commissioning service at Missionary Renewal last June in Springfield.

So, the bush still burns. My prayer is that I can continue bringing supply and demand together – being the liaison between our sending agency (AGWM or U.S. Missions) and our support base here in Oklahoma. The leadership team under Brother Cargill is very cohesive. And together with all our churches across the district we can accomplish what the Father wills in these closing days of time.

God Bless the Oklahoma District!

Respectfully submitted,

Lindell Warren District Missions Director

Getting to know the ministers of the Oklahoma District through Oklahoma School of Ministry, Sectional Councils, weekend ministry and sharing meals along with some coffee stops here and there has been the biggest joy over the last year. I’m blessed by the personal relationships that have formed over the last year and also by a growing appreciation for the diversified church life across our district. This new role for me has been exhilarating through fresh connections as well as the challenge of various ministry areas.

From all adult ministry discipleship in the local church to marriage enrichment and the church planting/church coaching liaison, what has been accomplished could not occur without a team of competent friends. A special thanks to the following

partners: Shirley Ophus, our office assistant, for helping me adjust to my responsibilities and facilitate such an expansive area of service; Gary and Debbie Pratt, our Singles Ministries Coordinators, who continue to bring a leadership level of experience, excellence and skill to this most needed area of ministry in the local church; Martin and Janice Perryman, our Senior Adult Ministries Coordinators, who have come on board to provide energetic and creative ideas/experiences for the seniors across Oklahoma; our Men’s Ministries/LFTL Reps, all of whom have given of their time to help keep ministry to men current and aiding in the raising of Light-for-the-Lost monies in all 14 sections. My appreciation to Pastor Cargill for believing in our leadership and kindness to us in this transition continues to run deep.

Lastly, allow me to thank the wonderful family of the Oklahoma District for the warm reception we have felt and the desire to come alongside us in this endeavor to serve, partner and network. Please know that Michelle and I along with Ethan and Emma are excited about our Assemblies of God fellowship and are dedicated to being a positive contribution to our future together.

I am blessed in many ways as I lead the Women’s Ministries of Oklahoma. In looking back over my first year what a tremendous time we have had together. It has been such a joy getting to know ladies from across our fellowship.

I am thankful for an awesome group of ladies that serve on our women’s leadership team. Their creativity, commitment, passion and support have been such an asset to me. A special thanks goes out to Linda Goldner, Darla Holmes, Carol Stuart, ReBecca Yandell, Kay Couch, Nyree Brodrick, Sandra Hutcheson, Amanda Carlile, Cyndi St. John, Maria Allen, Debbie Pratt, Tammy Holman, Judy Gifford, Deana Smith, Julie Allred, and Shirley Ophus.

We have shared incredible times at our LIFE Rallies, Elite Ladies luncheon, Refreshing Women’s Conference, and Leadership training. The weekends I have shared in local women’s retreats, one-on-one connections, and speaking to women’s leadership teams has been enriching and

fueled my passion for women’s ministries in greater ways.

In looking at the future, I am anticipating exceptional things for Women’s Ministries. Women ministering to women, retreats, networking, and increased missions giving are just a few ways I see us moving forward with fresh vision.

Thank you for all the love and support you have given to me and my family over this last year. May we continue to allow God to use us individually and corporately as we minister to women in our churches, community, nation and around the world.

YOUTH DIRECTORDoug Everaard

It has been a great   honor to serve the churches and student ministries in the Oklahoma District Council this past year as District Youth Directors.   We have enjoyed another great year of working with the youth leaders of our state, local pastors, our OYM staff, as well as the rest of our District Office staff.  We personally want to thank the ministers of the Oklahoma District for their support and allowing us the opportunity to share our heart for student ministry and missions in their pulpits.  Our ministry consisted of church services, revivals, youth services, conventions, University/College/high school chapels, camps, rallies, retreats and STL services.  We love the students of this generation and the youth pastors who lead them and it is our continued desire to develop generations to lead.

During this past year we have led many district activities, including: Discipleship Camp, Speed-the-Light Missions Conventions, Girls Retreat, Fine Arts

Festival, Christian Fun Day, 5 Youth camps, Convergence Youth Convention, Youth Pastors Retreat, SHIFT school assemblies, and Bible Quiz.We also participated in several national events such as National DYD Conference, National Speed-The-Light Banquet and National Fine Arts Festival.   I also attended District Board Meetings, District Planning Meetings for the New Camp, the Southwestern Assemblies of God University Board of Regents meetings.

As many of you know by now our family has been fighting cancer in our 3year old son Grayson since September of 2010.  Because of this fight, there are some events that we would normally list that we did not attend so they were not added to this list.   Thank you so much for fighting along with us through your prayers, phone calls, emails, love gifts, visits and even some of you that helped run events. We see the end in sight and hope to be done with Gray’s treatments

by the end of 2011 if not before.God is so faithful!

I appreciate the youth committee for their help and ideas in leading the student ministries of this state.   I would also like to say a huge “Thank you” to our assistant Robin Johnson for her hard work through her administration and organization of the OYM office and events this past year, she has gone through the learning curve with ease even though she has had more placed on her than should be! Thank you Robin!Jill, Seth, Grayson and I appreciate you and our District Leadership for allowing us to serve in this position and look forward to what the Lord has in this upcoming year.

As I sit back and reflect over the past year, I am grateful, not only for the opportunities that God has afforded me, but also for the people that he has put in my path. Oklahoma is filled with great churches, and those churches are filled with great people.

It has been an honor and a privilege to serve the Oklahoma District over the course of this past year. We have enjoyed every step of the way. Thank you so much to the pastors, children’s pastors, and various churches that have supported Oklahoma Children’s Ministries. You have welcomed us into your churches. You have invited us into your homes. You have served along

side us at Kids Kamp. And for that, we are grateful.

I would like to thank an incredible team of coordinators that Joy and I have the privilege of having on our team. Marvin Lemke - Royal Rangers Coordinator, Liz Moon - Girls Ministries Coordinator, Larry and Cindy Mullins – Junior Bible Quiz Coordinators, and David and Tracy Zentz – B.G.M.C. Coordinators. I would also like to thank the Children’s Ministries Reps for their help in organizing and preparing for various events. It would be impossible for the OCM department to function without the help and dedication of these individuals

God has also blessed us with a great team here at the District Office. I want to thank them for the love, support, and friendship. It is truly a blessing for them to be a part of our lives.

Joy, D.J., Tori, and I really value the relationships that we have formed across the state, and look forward to new relationships that will grow in the coming years.

The Executive Board serves as the Revolving Fund Committee for the Oklahoma District Council of the Assemblies of God. The committee meets monthly as well as subject to additional action at the call of the District Superintendent. The following individuals serve as the Revolving Fund Committee: H. Franklin Cargill, Chairman; T. Craig Dacus, Tom H. Goins, Curtis J. Owens, and Ron L. McCaslin.

The activities of the Revolving Fund are periodically examined by the auditing firm of Brad, Kurt, and Dobson, LLD. As of December 31, 2010 the total portfolio under management exceeded five million dollars. The year closed with a balance of $5,218,500.

Due to active construction of our new Sparks Camp, the committee placed a temporary moratorium on new Revolving Fund loans this past year. This action enabled the Revolving Fund to become a major source of revenue for construction funds by providing internal financing without incurring interest charges. The long-term impact will amount to a savings of thousands of dollars and allow an earlier occupancy for the NEXT Generation of our new camp facilities.

The committee expresses thanks to God for his abundant blessings upon our Fellowship. Our desire remains to discharge prudent fiduciary duties that will enable the Revolving Fund

to significantly impact the Kingdom through growth of the Oklahoma District Ministries.

Respectfully submitted,

Revolving Fund CommitteeH. Franklin Cargill, Chairman

Praise God for another great year for missions participation through the people of the Oklahoma District. God’s favor continues to rest upon us. In calendar year 2010 our people and churches gave $17,326,587 in Total Assemblies of God Giving. Although AGWM giving has hovered around seven and a half million for the last several years Total Assembly of God Giving keeps moving higher, PTL. For the first time ever we had 30 churches that gave over $100,000 to missions. Oklahoma has six churches in the National TOP 100 in AGWM Giving for 2010.

The Missionary Screening Committee met three times during the past 16 month fiscal year. Six units were screened and recommended with three of them being approved as candidate missionaries. The other three units spilled over into a new year. Two couples transferred from U.S. Missions to AGWM, each needing to itinerate some more. Four missionary units resigned or retired in this same time period. Four veteran units itinerated and were cleared to leave, while five more veteran units were itinerating at the end of the year.

Spanish Ministry witnessed over 10 new church plants this past fiscal year. Scores of new Spanish speaking ministers have successfully completed the School of Ministry. This provides pastors for our 20 plus Spanish churches in the Oklahoma District, and new plants for the future.

The Cowboy Church Fellowship sees bright days ahead for new church plants and church development. At the close of the year we had seven approved Cowboy churches. Three of the Cowboy churches are flips (existing churches), while the other four are new church plants. Our goal is 20 new Cowboy churches within three years.

Chi Alpha Campus Ministry has a presence on more Oklahoma college and university campuses than any previous time. We have three U.S. Missionary units, four Missionary Associates, six local church staff personnel, and four volunteers working with campus ministries. Training and funding remain the biggest obstacles to our Chi Alpha workers across Oklahoma. The mission statement of Chi Alpha capsulizes our goal of reconciling

students to Christ, equipping them through spirit-filled communities of prayer, worship, fellowship, discipleship and mission to transform the university, the market place and the world.

Teen Challenge now has five resident centers across Oklahoma – two adult men’s centers, a women’s center, and two adolescent centers under one administrative head. From a small beginning over 23 years ago to a multi-site, multi-million dollar ministry today, Teen Challenge provides 24/7 ministry to over 100 people.

The Missions Department provides oversight also to Native American Ministry, Deaf Ministry, Prison Ministry, and all missionary personnel.

In conclusion, our missionaries remain on the cutting edge of world evangelism. Our missionaries go farther, stay longer, produce better, and conserve more on less than any other missions enterprise.

2010 was the launching of a new department in the District Office. Michelle and I have been honored to serve in this new role. Church Ministries continues to carry the mission of serving, partnering and networking with the ministers and the ministries of Oklahoma Assemblies of God.

The following is a summary of Church Ministries in 2010: Singles Ministries experienced their first Single/Single Parent Mini Vacation in late July of 2010, with a worship experience on Friday night and Frontier City on Saturday. Also, another first in this area was the Access Young Adult/Singles Conference, led by Gary and Debbie Pratt, at Lawton First Assembly on a Friday and Saturday in November.

Martin and Janice Perryman coordinated our first Senior Adult Heritage Christmas Tour, a banquet and concert held in early December at three different church locations – the western, central and eastern parts of our state.

Church Ministries was proud to release its first resource in the Spring of 2010. Rescued: a Guidebook for New Christ-followers continues to be strongly received across the state and beyond.

Men’s Ministries conducted a Guys Get-

a-way in late March with a Friday golf tournament and worship experience afterwards.

The LFTL Tour gave us the opportunity to share the Cuba Bible College Project in every section. Thanks to the faithful giving of our men and the partnership of our churches, Oklahoma ranked #1 with $911,393.42 in LFTL giving. The top five LFTL giving churches are as follows:

Mustang The Bridge - $300,370.00Owasso First Assembly of God - $71,800.46Weatherford Life Fellowship - $66,385.00Tulsa Carbondale - $54,814.00Broken Arrow The Assembly - $29,486.00

The 11th annual Elite Ladies Luncheon was enjoyed by ministers’ widows in June at A Spot for Tea, in Oklahoma City. Linda Dissmore was the guest speaker and spoke such an encouraging word to these ladies.

The 2010 Refreshing Women’s Conference was held in September at The Assembly in Broken Arrow. Approximately 700 ladies attended and were deeply inspired by our speaker, Alicia Britt Chole. An offering of $10,000 was received toward building a safe house for children who are rescued in the US from sex trafficking.

LIFE Rally events were held on January 18 in 12 locations across the state. Missions pledges totaling $123,901.00 have been received. Through LIFE we were able to help new and veteran missionaries with household funds as well as special projects and monthly support of missions organizations. We are pleased to announce that through the giving of Oklahoma women, we have been able to transfer $50,000 in funds for the kitchen at the new campground in Sparks.

The first Empower Women’s Leadership Training and Girls Ministries Power Surge joined for an intensive weekend of training on March 25 & 26. Numerous workshops were available to help resource women as they minister to women and girls. Women in ministry were blessed by our National Women’s Director, Kerry Clarensau as well as challenged by Grady and Janet Smalling in sex trafficking awareness.

It has been our honor and privilege to serve the Oklahoma District family this past year. Please call on us to serve you!

Our desire in Oklahoma Youth Ministries is to “Develop Generations to Lead.”   We do this through training and encouraging youth leaders around our state to win, build, send, and lead students into ministry in all walks of life.   Our annual events as well as our resources and efforts are all focused towards this desire.

We continue to make it a goal to develop events that meet the needs of our students across Oklahoma.  Our five weeks of youth camp involved 2831 campers at Tuner Falls. Girls Retreat had 582 girls in attendance as we once again partnered with Elizabeth Moon and our Girls Ministries from around the state. Convergence Youth Convention had 1875 students in attendance with close to 500 salvations & rededication the

first night.

The youth committee would like to thank Mark & Cheryl Cain for coordinating our Fine Arts program.   In 2010 we had 883 students with over 2000 entries from all across Oklahoma participating on the district level. Eight entries finished in the top ten nationally and two entries were National Award of Merit Winners.

The youth committee would like to thank Kyla Jones for her leadership and coordination of District Bible Quiz.  In 2010 Owasso First A/G made it to the National Championship finals Division for the third straight year in a row, winning back-to-back National Championships in 08 & 09.   Highpointe A/G OKC and Muskogee

First finished 5th and 10th in the National Bible Quiz Challenger Finals Division.

We continue to do our best to equip our own Oklahoma missionaries as they minister around the world.   In 2010 as a District we raised $259,840.44 in Speed The Light giving placing us tenth in the nation and bringing our 64-year cumulative giving to 14,589,590.91.

In the past year we presented our “SHIFT” school assembly program to over 2,200 students and saw hundreds of students respond to Christ.

Oklahoma Children’s Ministries believe in the importance of ministry to children. Kids, especially in today’s society, must be equipped to face the challenges of living their Christian faith in a culture that openly opposes Godly beliefs.

It is the desire of OCM to partner with children’s pastors and workers all over the state to train, equip, and serve them as they minister to the children of Oklahoma. Whether it is through BGMC, JBQ, Royal Rangers, or Girls Ministries, we are here for you.

BGMC Our BGMC Coordinators, David and Tracy Zentz, are doing a terrific job of spreading the word about BGMC by continuing to visit churches all over the state.. Our giving total in 2010 reached $225,995.63, and place our district fourth in the nation in BGMC giving. Who says a little change can’t change the world?

JBQ Our JBQ ministry has grown over the past year. We now have added a league in the south eastern part of the state. Junior Bible Quiz program does a great job of not only teaching kids God’s word, but is also used as a great tool of discipleship. Larry and Cindy Mullins have done an outstanding job of coordinating JBQ across the state. Royal Rangers It has been a great year for Royal Rangers. Ranger Coordinator, Marvin Lemke, has done an incredible job overseeing this very important ministry. Camp Adventure

is continually transforming into a great facility for our boys. A trading post has been added as part of the FCF village. A new lake, completely stocked with fish and a fishing dock, has been constructed as well.. Pow Wow 2010 came and went seeing over 700 men and boys touched and transformed by the power of God. The theme was NASCAR. We worked and played all day, and we prayed and praised all night. The Oklahoma District Royal Rangers staff is doing a wonderful job of equipping and training men and boys across the state.

Girls MinistriesThe 2010 Oklahoma theme was “SuperGirl”. Body & Soul~ Fearfully and Wonderfully Made, Psalm 139:14. Teen Girl Ministries in conjunction with Oklahoma Youth Department hosted their annual Girls Retreat for 6th-12th grade girls on Feb 19-20 at OKC Crossroads Church with 582 in attendance.

G.R.O.W. rallies were held in Tulsa and the OKC area. Several Girls Ministries retreats for Stars, Friends & Girls Only and Day Camps for Rainbows-Prims were held across the state with many girls and leaders in attendance. August 13 and 14, approximately 2,000 attended the District Girls Ministries Celebrations at the District Tabernacle in Oklahoma City. There were 172 girls crowned Honor Stars, 27 Friends Graduates, 8 Girls Only Graduates, 106 Bronze, 21 Silver and 6 Gold Medal of Honor. The Gold Medalists were also awarded a $500 scholarship.

August 28 was Mega Training Day for “SuperGirls Need Super Leaders!” Four different leadership tracks were offered and 99 leaders were trained for Girls Ministries.

In September and October hundreds of Girls across Oklahoma attended local or sectional Sleepovers and celebrated “Time For Tea” as they learned about our National Girls Ministries Coins For Kids missions project, Belgium- A Taste of Freedom. Sleepovers were held at local churches and even the Tulsa Zoo!

I-Camp, Kids Kamp, and Little Radicals Each camp, in its own right, was a unique experience. We saw God do great things during each service. We had a total of 2761 people in attendance. We had 93 first time salvations and 177 baptized in the Holy Spirit. Our executive staff, coaches, and support staff did an incredible job of making our first camping season a success.

Thanks again to all who have contributed to my first year as Children’s Ministries Director. As we look back on the faithfulness of God in the past, let us trust in that same faithfulness as we look to the future.

Respectfully submitted,

We appreciate the help of many who have assisted with the school assemblies - Travis Jenkins, Rob McClure, Ryan Summers, Jeremy Trevier, Doug Wyatt, and the 3 Eleven School of Ministry.

We continue to strengthen and connect our youth workers by offering free of charge Youth Pastors Retreat as well as developing and using new technology: OYM website, facebook and the youth pastors e-group.

God is moving in a special way with our Hispanic churches in 2010. We have 17 District churches, 5 departmental churches and 7 missions churches. Our district churches alone have over 1,250 members and if you add the departmental and missions we reach over 2,500 Hispanics each week. During this past year we saw over 250 first time salvations, 150 water baptisms and 110 filled with the Holy Spirit. We believe the extraordinary growth comes from a hunger that the Hispanic people have for God. The Hispanic people love to have church. They believe that it is a must to be in church several times during the week. Many of our churches have up to 8 services each week. They also believe that every member is called of God to win souls. They believe that evangelizing is a must in a Christian’s life. Winning their next door neighbor is the goal that every member has.

We are excited about the number of new students in our School of Ministry “Instituto Bíblico Oklahoma.” The school year 2010 was great! We had over 60 students to enroll and we had 38 to graduate in August. Praise God!

Although we are growing, we have so much more to do. Oklahoma is home to over 350,000 Hispanics. We must reach them all. Please stand with us in prayer that we will have the laborers to help start new works in various parts of the state.

Respetuosamente,

Church Multiplication NetworkThe Oklahoma Church Multiplication Network (OCMN) made considerable strides forward since its inception in February 2010. A Church Multiplication Task Force was created consisting of Coordinator Ron Meador, Darren Pilcher, Ron McCaslin, Rodney Fouts, Ric Freeman, and Phil Taylor. The task force developed the process through which church planters are required to follow in order to gain approval to plant a new church in Oklahoma. The Task Force also acts as the screening committee for interviews and recommends qualified planters to the Superintendent for final approval. Several planters are currently in the process.

Last year, the OCMN approved two new church plants. Superintendent Cargill’s

vision aims at planting ten new churches in 2011.

OCMN also held its first Church Planting Boot Camp in February 2011 at North Church in Oklahoma City. Nine couples, who are potential church planters, attended the Boot Camp.

The Oklahoma Coaching Network is another new ministry tool being developed in 2011. Coaches are required to meet certification standards of the Assemblies of God Coaching Network. Our district recently sponsored two training clinics at Spring Creek AG in Edmond. Our goal is to develop a coaching network whereby all church planters will receive free coaching for two years from the time they are

approved to plant a church in the district.

We are in our sixth year in the Oklahoma School of Ministry.  God has birthed a ministry for our District that is now the talking points for many Districts in the General Council.  God has placed his hand on this school to train ministers for these last days.  Every month is filled with excitement as we study God’s Word and learn how to apply it to our lives.

Our students come from all over the state of Oklahoma.  We have several students driving in from adjoining states.  They tell us that the Oklahoma School of Ministry

meets the needs in their lives.  We find that 80% of our students are studying to meet the educational requirements for credentials with the Assemblies of God, others are simply wanting to learn more of God’s Word.

This year recorded for us a record number of students.  We have had over 1700 students enroll in one or more courses during the past 6 years.  This year we have 297 students enrolled in courses of study.  We have experienced an outstanding grouth in our Spanish School.

We have launched a High School division that will begin in the immediate future. the courses offered will only be those assigned on the first level of study. However, many have expressed a desire for this ministry to assist with discipleship development. This is an exciting new ministry and it is geared to the interest of the High School student.
