Bea Smith and Glenda McClatchey “If everything

were different, it wouldn’t be the same"

Bea creates lovely figurative drawings with

pastels. Glenda’s works are colorful abstract

paintings and collages. They couldn’t be more

different, and yet... in Chinese philosophy, yin

and yang describe how seemingly opposite or

contrary forces may actually be complementary,

interconnected, and interdependent, and how

they may give rise to each other as they
