Mother’s Day ALL ladies were recognized during the Sunday morning service, and honored with a prayer of blessing and a red rose. We thank God for mothers!

Women’s Ministries Women’s Ministries was pleased to have Cate Storen as their special guest on Tuesday, May 17th. Cate served as the Creative Arts & Worship Pastor at Calvary Community Church in Barrie, but will be moving back to Australia in a few weeks. She shared a very inspiring message

of her journey to Canada, how God directed her steps all along the way, and how she learned to trust Him in every situation—the good and the not so good. Cate reminded us to keep our trust in God at ALL times! "Obeying and trusting God is never a risk! "

Mighty Men’s Ministry Kendall Woodward was the guest speaker at this month’s Men’s Breakfast, held on Satur-day, May 28th. He shared an encouraging message on “our position in the body of Christ.” The men also enjoyed a full break-fast, prepared by George Carl and his crew.

Primetimers On Tuesday, May 24th, a full bus load of sen-iors headed out to Lancaster, Pennsylvania. While there, they attended the production of “Samson” at the Sight and Sound Theatre, a musical at “Bird In The Hand”, shopping, eat-ing, and great fellowship together. Pastor June and John White do a fantastic job in planning and organizing this trip every year.

Boys and Girls Club BG’s held their final night on Wednesday, May 25th. They celebrated with lots of fun worship songs and handed out BG awards. BGs will resume again in September. We are so thankful to our leaders and volunteers who invest in the lives of these children.

FUEL Youth Approximately 35 Youth and Youth Leaders attended the annual Overflow Convention held in Waterloo the weekend of May 20-22nd. This was a sold out event of over 3000 youth, gath-ering from various churches to join in worship. Many received salvation and lives were changed. We thank God for that! We also are so thankful to those who sponsored and/or contributed towards reducing the cost for our students to attend. FUEL Youth continues throughout the summer, with regular Friday night meetings and activities.

Benevolence Innisfil Food Bank We have been running low on a lot of staple food items at the Food Bank as there are not as many food drives throughout the summer months. However, we are thankful for those who regularly donate food. This month we received donations from Sandy Cove Acres, Alcona Animal Hospital, Stroud Seniors, and a young girl who opted to have food items brought to her birthday party instead of birth-day presents…..so awesome! God always provides! Clothing Depot This month’s free shopping night was held on Thursday, May 26. The donations continue to pour in on a daily basis and the shoppers con-tinue to increase! I am so thankful to have had Co-op Student, Hannah Langeveld, helping me these past several months. She is doing a phe-nomenal job! I am also grateful to Bryan, Jen-nifer & Abbey Hay who continue to support me on those chaotic shopping nights! ……..Beulah Courtney “We are His hands and feet on this earth. Yours are the hands, yours are the feet, yours are the eyes, you are His body!”

In Memoriam We regret to announce the passing of one of

ICC’s family members, Reg Vent. Reg and his wife, Michele, and their kids have been a part of ICC for many years. Michele’s par-ents, Jim & Sandra Benson, at-tend ICC as well whenever they are in Innisfil. The Vents are also our neighbors...living next door to the church. Reg fought a val-

iant battle with cancer and passed away at the RVH Hospital the beginning of May. He had been out to church just a few weeks prior. A “Celebration of Life” was held at the Lion’s Hall in Alcona on Saturday, May 21. From the very large crowd that attended, it was evident that Reg touched many lives over the years. Please remember this family in your prayers.

Government Grant After applying for student government grants for the summer, we are pleased to announce we were awarded a Federal Grant for up to nine students for a 8-week period. This will allow us to provide community programs such as Basketball Camp, Art Camp, Outreach Pro-grams, Community Carnival, and more...at no cost to the church. Interviews with Pastor Mark and Pastor Andy for those positions are ongoing. We are thankful for God’s provi-sion—both for ICC and for the students in-volved.

In And Around The Church This month we provided space for Census Canada several times a week (for several weeks) to conduct training sessions. Other organizations that made use of our facility were: Gideon Bible Society, Tim Hortons, Toastmasters, Alcona Brownies, and Love & Service.
