Outlook for June

Overall trending stats for Hermosa Beach during the month of May were less than impressive compared to

the first quarter of 2014. Declines in performance were recorded for total sales, median sales price, median

days to sell, sales/listing ratio, and months of inventory. However, year-over-year data reveals the median

sales price is still 11.77% higher in May 2014 as compared to May 2013.

“What’s my best guestimate for June?” you ask. Considering the cost to borrower remains relatively

inexpensive I suspect buyer interest will increase in weeks to come. Also, summertime is an extremely busy

real estate season (historically speaking) so I assume both seller and buyer activity to intensify beyond what

we have seen thus far in 2014. That said anyone curious about real estate – listing or purchasing – should
