Miranda Bounds, owner of Dragonfly Photography, and Carla Bowman, owner of Infinity Massage by Carla Bowman, hosted their Grand
Opening Event on Thursday, April 26th in Rex Courtyard, right next door to their new location at 108 N Hoyle Avenue in down town Bay Minette. Dragonfly Photography and Infinity Massage are located inside the Historic Hamilton Hotel Building (alongside long-time owner of “The
Gallery” Mr. John Lewis). The North Baldwin Chamber staff was on hand at the Grand Opening Event to host a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Officially welcome Dragonfly Photography and Infinity Massage to the Chamber Family. Bounds and
Bowman have joined the ranks of many other local downtown business owners who are all working to revitalize and continue to breathe life
into Old Town Bay Minette. On Wednesday, May
1st, Mayor Bob Wills
cut the Ribbon and
officially opened the
American Heart
Association Walking
Path, known as The
Old Town Bay
Minette Art Trail.
On hand for the
inaugural walk were
the City of Bay
Minette, the North
Baldwin Chamber of
Commerce and the
Old Town Bay Minette Arts
Council. Maps of the Art Trail are available in front of
the Bay Minette Public Library where the trail begins
and ends. The trail winds around the Baldwin County
Courthouse past downtown businesses, parks and
neighborhoods. The artwork along the trail is donated
by local artists and students and will be changed out
periodically.

Young Professionals Present $5,000 in Scholarships to BCHS Seniors
The Young Professionals of the North Baldwin Chamber of
Commerce presented $5,000 in scholarships to three Baldwin
County High School Seniors on Thursday, May 9th. The Young
Professionals raised the scholarship money last fall with the
first ever Delta Dash—a 5k+ mud run obstacle course through
the delta of Stockton, Alabama. Approximately 500 runners
participated in the Delta Dash helping to make these scholar-
ships possible. The Young Professionals are already planning
for the 2nd Annual Delta Dash to take place on September 28th
this year; registration opens June 1st with an expectation of
doubling the participation, more runners equal more
scholarships.
Destany Morris is the top recipient of the Delta Dash
Scholarship receiving $3,000. Destany is headed to the
University of Mobile in the fall and plans to major in
Education.
Lennon Steadham and Marlee Brannan are each receiving
$1,000 scholarships. Lennon is headed to the University of
South Alabama where she plans to study Chemical
Engineering, while Marlee is headed to the University of
Alabama to pursue an education in Nursing.
Congratulations ladies, and a big thank you to the Young
Professionals of the North Baldwin Chamber for their hard
work to make this scholarship program possible.
