EXPERIENCE

Server Administration Managed server floor with 116 servers, primarily Windows with some Linux and

proprietary operating systems, achieved 99% uptime of services provided. Implemented new systems and upgrades of current systems keeping servers secure and

current. Accomplished 86 servers build while in the Air force. Upgraded environmental monitoring system to monitor the status of the server floor to

include temperature and power, designed cooling upgrades to improve overall health of server floor which reduced heat issues by 50%.

Computer Administration Managed 5,300 computers across base, including classified computers and computer

peripherals. Maintained hardware and software on these systems. Maintained 12,000 user accounts on two separate networks including classified network,

and purged both networks of stale accounts. Experienced in working on Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, and 10 to include making a

standard load for each ensuring correct configuration cutting production time by 60%.

Network Management Monitored and maintained base network, implemented Solar Winds Orion to monitor

network health and traffic across 450 switches. Researched, designed, and implemented projects to improve network capabilities and

maintain 99% up time overall, while staying current on new technologies. Generated network topology maps to aid technicians in understanding the flow of the

network reducing troubleshooting time for network outages. Created a training network of 12 servers to enable 15 total technicians gain valuable

experience in building and troubleshooting various key servers, lead to technicians completing upgrade training and being proficient on servers 40% faster than before training network.

Vulnerability Management

Managed the network overall vulnerabilities, scanned and patched systems as needed. Implemented protocols and new systems to improve security. CompTIA Security Plus Certified.

Implemented full time vulnerability management shop for the base networks which cut total vulnerabilities by 70% and lead to best total numbers out of 15 other networks.

Created 6 vulnerability scanners to scan 2 networks continuously allowing for two full network reports in a week and enabled near real time tracking of overall network health and key threats.
