Dear Teachers,

These are designed to make a very smooth and low stress guided math block. You do not

need to spend a lot of time and money printing colored center games and spend tons of

hours cutting it all out!

Math on My Own- You can assign students pages to complete from your math series,

skill worksheets, problem solving etc. This is completed independently.

Math Facts- I give students a new set of math flashcards each week and they keep it

in the stapled baggie in their designated math folder. The answers are copied on the back

for students. You can also have random sets of flashcards for students to use during this

station. You can also use this time as a peer tutoring time so that students can work on

math facts on their own level.

These are two resources that I use:

You also can give students math fact worksheets to complete. I use these because they

are isolated skill worksheets:

During Work on Numbers- I either write what their job is on the day or I attach a

task card with their job to complete.

I use these task cards:

Math Review- These are any store bought games, curriculum games etc that students

have already learned how to play. They can play these. You can also have students

complete a review sheet before they can go play one of the games/ activities.

I use these review sheets:

Math with Teacher- I keep dry erase materials near me and I work on each groups’

level of the skill of the week that we are focusing on. Sometimes if a few students in the

group get the concept- I send them back to work on review games while I keep the other

students and go over the concept more in depth.

How do students know where to go? -I write names of students for each group on a sticky note and place it above the rotation
