FIBERGLASS MESH PRODUCTION Masterplast produces fiberglass mesh at two european plants: in Kál (Hungary) and in subotica (serbia). the fiberglass mesh products manufactured meet the standards and the documentation needs of the main european construction regu-lations (eta, Ce) and other international rules. Masterplast can use two different fiberglass mesh production technologies, which is unique among the european manufacturers and enables the company to offer a wide range of product types. as a business service provider, the company is able to offer personalized, tailor-made products of high quality. along with the ongoing investments focusing on the production capacity extension, Masterplast aims at becoming the second biggest fiberglass manufacturer in europe by 2017.

Before embedding the fiberglass mesh, cover the surface with a base coat layer by using a notched trowel.

Cover the embedded fiberglass mesh by a second layer of base coat. Thickness of the base coat applied on the top of the mesh should be at least 1 mm.

Embed the fiberglass mesh into the base coat with an overlap of 10 cm.

MASTERNET PREMIUM AND MASTERNET FIBERGLASS MESH TYPES FOR ETICS SYSTEMSIn the external thermal insulation systems (ETICS) the fiberglass mesh layer reinforces the base coat of the thermal insulation. Fiberglass mesh improves the mechanical resistance of the surface and reduces the risk of cracks. Only fiberglass mesh types certified according to EAD 040016-00-0404 / ETAG 004 regulations can be applied in ETICS systems.

Install the fiberglass mesh into the middle of the plaster. Thickness of the plaster applied on the top of the mesh should be at least 1 mm.

MASTERNET FIBERGLASS MESH TYPES FOR INDOOR PLASTERINGIt is worth to strengthen the 5-6mm thick plastering layer of the old, cracked indoor renders by an indoor fiberglass mesh type. The surface gets stronger, longer-lasting and reduces the risk of cracking.

Embed the fiberglass mesh into the first layer of the plaster.

Install the plastering mesh also with an overlap of 10 cm.

Cover the fiberglass mesh by a second layer of plaster, the mesh must be installed into the middle of the plaster.

MASTERNET FIBERGLASS MESH FOR OUTDDOR OR INDOOR PLASTERINGFor the renovation of old, low quality walls where the thickness of the plaster is uneven - the plastering mesh reduces the risk of cracks, thus strengthens the plaster.

Embed the mesh into the first layer of the plaster.

Grooves must be filled up by plaster and reinforced by a 10-10 cm wider fiberglass mesh tape than the hole itself.

Cover the fiberglass mesh by a second layer of plaster.

Use fiberglass mesh to reinforce the plaster on wood fiber boards and other moving basements.

Plasters covering electrical cabling grooves (especially deep and wide ones) should be reinforced by fiberglass mesh in order to reduce the risk of cracks.
