Model D10096-000 Master Reference Unit is

designed t o han dle a var iety of applicat ions in

which signa l conditioning an d mu ltiple out put s

are r equired while maintaining input to output

circuit isolation. Each Model D10096-000 cansupply four separate outputs that are each iso-

lated from th e mast er reference signal and a lso

from each of th e oth er outpu ts. If more th an

four outp uts a re required, two or more un its

ma y be ganged togeth er.

A variety of output s are a cceptable as sources

for t he ma ster reference signal. A +10 VDC

voltage is available to allow the ma ster signal

to be sourced from a 2,000 to 10,000 Ohm, 2

Wat t potent iometer. The potent iometer signal is

supplied th rough a linear acceleration/decelera-

tion circuit with two selectable ran ges. A cus-

tomer-supplied cont act closur e ena bles the

    acceleration/deceleration circuit and allows the

reference to accelerate to a level set by the

input potentiometer. Th e decelerat ion circuit

opera tes wh enever th e reference is lowered.

When t he ena ble contact opens, the r eference is

    zeroed immed iat ely.

Four selectable volta ge ran ges may a lso be

used as master signals. The input impedance is

greater th an 1,000,000 Ohms for ea ch voltage

ra nge. The available input r an ges are 0 to 25

    VDC, 0 to 50 VDC, 0 to 100 VDC an d 0 t o 200

Three selectable current ranges are availableto ha ndle var ious process cont rol signa ls. The

with a frequency ra nge from 0 to 2,000 Hz. A

buffer circuit with an input impedance of

appr oximately 100,000 Ohms is supplied to

limit loading on the frequency source. The cir-

cuit switches at a threshold level of approxi-

    mately 0.5 VDC.

Four ident ical output circuits are s our ced

from the ma ster signal. Each output h as sepa-

rate OFFSET, GAIN, and BIAS adjustments to

ta ilor th e output signal. An optional Trim

potentiometer input is also provided to allow

th e out put to be remotely rat ioed.
