THE WEEKLY FUNNY…from Father Bill

A blonde goes to a restaurant, buys a cup of coffee and sits down to drink it. She looks on the side of her cup and finds a peel-off prize. She

pulls off the tab and yells, "I WON! I WON! I WON a motorhome, I WON a motorhome!" The waitress runs over and says, "That’s

impossible. The biggest prize given away was a Mini-Van!" The blonde replies, "NO. I WON a motorhome, I WON a motorhome!" By this time the manager makes his way over to the table and says, "You couldn't

possibly have won a motorhome because we didn't have that as a prize!" Again the blonde says, "No, no mistake, I WON a motorhome, I

WON a motorhome!" The blonde hands the prize ticket to the manager and he reads: "WIN A BAGEL".

Come on down! Everyone welcome!

The stewardship message in the parable of the Prodigal Son is that it is never too late to become a good steward. Blessed is the elder brother who had been a good steward all along, but blessed, too, is the prodigal who had to lose all he had in order to understand the value of what he’d been given.

He knows typewriting and can type really fast.'' ''What about the green one?'' the man asks. The assistant says, ''He costs $5000 because he knows typewriting and can answer incoming telephone calls and takes notes.'' ''What about the red one?'' the man asks. The assistant says, ''That one's $10,000.'' The man says, ''What does HE do?'' The assistant says, ''I don't know, but the other two call him boss.''
