MAS Weight Indicators 640 Family

General information:MAS weight indicators are very precise measuring apparatus dedicated for the use by III class

industrial scales' manufacturers. Main functions of the products are: simple weighing, weighing with tare, and counting. They can be used in control systems for the bagging and batching processes. The indicators are designed to interface with dedicated software, computers and printers. MAS products are approved for use in legal measurement transactions. All the indicators 640 comply with EU EC directive.

Weight Indicator MAS 640

MAS 640 has a bright LED display with 20mm high digits. The reading is visible from a long distance as well as and in the dark. As an option data can be sent via a number of analog interfaces to control different processes based on the weight reading. The weight indicator MAS 640 can be customized to perform any non-standard task as per the customer's requirement.

Weight Indicator MAS 640 SS+

Weight Indicator MAS 640 SS+ has an extended user interface for an easy manual tare entry. A dedicated numerical keypad enables the weight of a container to be input and deducted from the total weight therefore simplyfiying the weighing of heavy goods. The additional backlit graphic display provides a clear information about the tare value, the product and the history of measurements. The tare value can be edited and stored in a non volatile memory for up to 25 products. Thanks to the product and tare memory an operator can display the list of saved items and select the preferred one. The indicator can be customized to perform any non-standard task as per the requirement.

Thermal Printers - “KAFKA”

MAS Advanced Measurement Solutions are a distributor of state-of-the-art KAFKA thermal printers manufacturered by the MEFA company. The printers are an ideal addition to electronic scales.

There are currently 3 products available:

1) Kafka 1 - can print alphabetical characters and simple graphics. The small dimensions of the printer, minimal power consumption, DC or AC power adapter, simplicity of use and quiet operation all make it most desirable addition to weighing products.

2) Kafka / Z is the same as the basic Kafka 1 but with an additional realtime clock. It prints both date and time.

3) Kafka SQS is an intelligent statistics printer for use with weighing scales. It has 2 operating modes: 1. processing and printing data received from electronic scales

- prints data automatically- a subsequent number can be added as a suffix before the measurement printout- actual time can be printed with each measurement (hour, minute, second)- stores values of each measurement in memory in order to perform statistical analysis- in the case of an error or mistake the last measurement can be erased- choice of operations, ie.: report, new series, continuation- option to print multiple reports at any time- stored data of current series could be erased- ability to perform statistical analysis using up to 1000 measurements

About the Owners

MAS Advanced Measurement Solutions was established by Arkadiusz Zurakowski in March 2009. Arkadiusz has got a Masters and Engineering Degree in Electronics and is passionate about electronics and innovation. For the past seven years he has worked in the electronic goods industry, including 4 years in the digital weighing scales sector, gaining invaluable professional experience in this field. The past two years has been spent working in the Research & Development department of a leading European manufacturer of laboratory equipment where he gained excellent exposure to the most innovative technologies available in the current market. A combination of professional experience, qualifications and personal interest in the digital scales market makes him a dedicated provider of excellent quality electronic equipment for the ever growing demand in the weighing scales industry.

Aleksandra Zurakowska is MAS’s Managing Director and the business co-owner. Aleksandra has got a Masters and Engineering Degree in Mechanics and Machine Building Technology. Her wide professional experience includes the analysis and evaluation of production processes and quality management. She has spent five years as a Quality Engineer working for international manufacturing companies specializing in production of electronic goods. She was trained in Six Sigma techniques and successfully employed them to the business processes. She also conducted multiple Quality Audits, and played an invaluable role in enhancing production efficiency and the quality of final goods. Three years spent managing a Department of Incoming Goods Inspection allowed Aleksandra to gain further experience in quality issues as well as develop managerial and supplier relationship skills. Aleksandra’s professional experience and her personal drive for excellence make her an invaluable member of MAS’s Management Team.
