PURPOSE AND NEED

Purpose • To improve an east-west arterial connection

between Havana Street and Peoria Street.Needs

• Address future expected traffic congestion• Improve travel efficiency by reducing out-of-

direction travel• Provide local access to existing and planned

residences, business, schools and parks.
