Darkness Versus Light

“So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in

the futility of their thinking.”

Ephesians 4:17

“Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children 2 and

live a life of love” Ephesians 5:1

8” For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light.” Ephesians 5:8

Motivation• Don’t be foolish.

• Understand what the Lord’s will is.

What’s Inside

• Do not get drunk on wine.

• Be filled with the Spirit.

What Comes Out• Speak to one another with

psalms, hymns and spiritual songs.

• Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord.– Always giving thanks for

everything.

Summary• Choose to live a new life in

Christ.

Summary• Make every area of your

life subject to Christ.– Behavior– Language– Anger– Time– What’s Inside

If you have not been born again through baptism—Why not

do so today?

Let this lesson motivate you to be more Christ-like.
