• Marine Week Chicago (11 – 17 May 2009)– 100 events.– Supported by over 600 Marines.– Attended by 200,000+ citizens.
• New opportunities and relationships • Positive media and marketing results

• Events selected for FY 2010 include:– Tournament of Roses Parade (1 Jan)– Martin Luther King Parade in Houston (16-20 Jan)– Mardi Gras in New Orleans (8-16 Feb)– Lakeside Jazz Festival (11-18 Apr)– Kentucky Derby (27 Apr – 2 May)– NYC Fleet Week (24-31 May)– Portland Rose Festival (10-13 June)– Summer Fest (22-27 Jun)– Special Olympics National Games (18-23 Jul)– Seattle Sea Fair (29-31 July)– State Fairs in Montana (1-5 Aug) and Idaho (24-30 Aug)– Champlain Valley Expo (28-31 Aug)– The Big E (15 Sep-4 Oct)
2010 Harrier Demo & Osprey Static Display Events
• Annual board conducted in Nov to select public events that will receive AV-8B demos & MV-22 static displays.• 14 events were selected to receive Harriers and 8 to receive Ospreys.• Basis for consideration:
• USMC’s operational tempo at time of event.• Recruiting potential.• Past support received.
• Selections awaiting ACMC approval.
