Hawker Siddeley Harrier GR.3 233 Operational Conversion Unit XV804/J (1977). Gloss dark green, dark sea grey, light aircraft grey finish with light biue code letter J on fin. Insignia on nose red and grey, black and yellow. Black serials.

233 OCU head is black, white and grey with yellow eye. Background disc is light blue. Flanking bars are (left) red and grey. (Right) black and yellow. Both are edged in light blue.

m mmm NEW COLOURS BAe Sea Harrier low visibility camouflage scheme Hawker Siddeley Sea Harrier F.R.S.1 ZA177, 809 Naval Air Squadron April/May 1982. Semi-matt finish of medium sea grey with lower wings and tailplane in mixed grey. Unit insignia on fin faces forward on port side and aft on starboard side. Individual codes are not carried.

Sea Harrier FRS.1 lower surfaces are medium sea grey and mixed grey*. Roundels are not applied to longer surfaces. Underwing serials on XZ497 only. Note the white intake interiors. *The two greys used are very similar to each other. For clarity the contrast between them has been exagerated in these drawings.
