Capability

• Vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) aircraft are a subset of V/STOL craft that do not require runways at all

• AV-8B HARRIER II 22000 pounds of thrust allow the Harrier II to both hover like a helicopter and blast forward like a jet at near-supersonic speeds. With the ability to attack anywhere, the Harrier forces the enemy to defend everywhere.
