Maria Ilieva was born in 1973 in Sofia, Bulgaria. In 1991 she graduated from Natibyonal School of Fine Arts, and in 1997, the National Academy of Fine Arts in Sofia. Since 1997, a member of the Association of Bulgarian Artists. Maria works in the genre of murals, portraiture, still life pictures. Her works are owned by private collections in Germany, Britain, France, Russia and the United States
