Rain Rain Go Away, when we see the sunshine at the center it is like a different group of peo-ple show up. We enjoy the change of the season but oh how we are ready for the next change, spring!!
February has been a fun month despite the cold, rainy days. We had our first ever "Friendship Wedding". Our seniors have loved our new music class under the direction of Kathy Kail. What a blessing Kathy has been for our seniors, we sure appreciate her music tal-ents and what she does for our center.
All enjoyed our celebration of Black History Month and our visit to ZZ's to eat lunch then on to the Alex Haley Museum in Henning. We always enjoy our day trips and try to plan one every month.
To help offset the cost of our bus trips to Walmart we are requesting a $1.00 donation to ride the bus.
We have had an awesome response to Crockett Center Staff cooking on Fridays so we will continue in March. Come eat with us and enjoy the activities we have to offer.
We are more than excited to welcome our new staff member Evelyn Smith, take time in the next few weeks to introduce yourself to Evelyn. Anyone who has been in our choir or music class will already know Evelyn has already been a big part of us with her music talents.
Love what I Do,
Mary R. Moore
