Prayer Walk

Thanks to all who took part in

our Prayer Walk last Sunday. We

prayed for the Christian

churches in our community that

God would draw many people to

Jesus through Christian minis-

tries. As Jesus taught us to pray,

“Thy kingdom come.”

Total Forgiveness - Tuesday

OK, this is getting personal now!

How do I forgive myself for what

I have done? This Tuesday, at

7:00 p.m., we will worship Jesus

who has forgiven us and helps

us forgive ourselves. Tuesday’s

message is titled, “Someone

Greater than Our Hearts.” Be

there to be blessed.

Just a REMINDER, children’s

choir practices after school at

3:45 on FRIDAYS.

Church Potluck & Meeting -

March 13th - 11:30 a.m.

Our church meeting will be on

the 13th. Bring food for the pot-

luck, which will be followed by

our meeting. This is an impor-

tant gathering. Your presence

will be a blessing.

Young Adult Study Underway

The young adults began a Bible

study last week ~ What’s So

Amazing About Grace. It’s not

too late to join this study! The

group is discussing Bible truths

about God’s great grace. There

is power in grace; it can trans-

form individuals, families, and

even nations. The class meets in

the conference room on the

north wing of FCC.

Missional Identity

Missional is not an activity. It’s

an identity! You are God’s

woman, man or child. As Chris-

tians, we are not people who “do

ministry.” We are ministers. We

are not people who “do mission.”

We are missionaries. As we live

out our identity as missionaries,

we will start to see our everyday

activities as opportunities to be

witnesses for Christ. Be Jesus to

the world. Ready, set, go!

Missional Idea

Know your neighbors. Do we

know their names? Do we pray

for them? Do we invite them into

our homes? Do we have more

than surface-level conversations

with them? Do we look for and

take advantage of opportunities

to talk about Jesus with them?

Volunteers Brass Band blessed

us in worship and fellowship

with great music! Thanks to Bill

Hall, leader, for bringing this

band to our church.
