• 1Corinthians 15:3  For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 

• 1Corinthians 15:4  that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, 

• 1Corinthians 15:5  and that he appeared to Peter, and then to the Twelve. 

• 1Corinthians 15:6  After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers at the same time, most of  whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep. 

• 1Corinthians 15:7  Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles,

• 1Corinthians 15:3  For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 

• (CEV)  I told you the most important part of the message exactly as it was told to me. That part is: Christ died for our sins, as the Scriptures say. 

• (GW)  I passed on to you the most important points of doctrine that I had received: Christ died to take away our          sins as the Scriptures predicted. 

• (TPV) Sapagkat ibinigay ko sa inyo itong pinakamahalagang aral na tinanggap ko rin: si Cristo’y namatay dahil sa ating mga kasalanan, bilang katuparan ng nasasaad sa Kasulatan;

1.THE RESURRECTION OF JESUS CHRIST HAS GIVEN US NEW BIRTH AND NEW LIFE

• 1Peter 1:3  Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 

• Romans 6:4  We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. 

• Acts 5:20  Go, stand in the temple courts, he said, "and tell the people the full message of this new life.” 

•   NOTE: new life of true joy, peace and meaning.new life of obedience to God doing His will new life of holiness new life of hope and great success and destiny

2.THE RESURRECTION OF JESUS CHRIST HAS GIVEN US FREEDOM FROM FEAR OF DEATH GUARANTEEING THAT WE’LL BE RAISED TO LIFE AGAIN NEVER TO DIE AGAIN IN GOD’S ETERNAL KINGDOM

• 1Corinthians 15:42  So will it be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable;

• 1Corinthians 15:43  it is sown in dishonor , it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; 

• 1Corinthians 15:44  it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also                                   a spiritual body. 

• 1Corinthians 15:55 Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting? 

• 1Corinthians 15:56  The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 

• 1Corinthians 15:57  But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 

• John 11:25  Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though                          he dies; 

• John 11:26  and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?" 

3.THE RESURRECTION OF JESUS CHRIST HAS GIVEN US SOLID ASSURANCE THAT OUR BELIEFS IN JESUS AND HIS TEACHINGS AND THE SCRIPTURES ARE THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH. 

• John 14:6  Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 

• John1:17  For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. 

• John 8:31  To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, "If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. 

• John 8:32  Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." 

• 1Corinthians 15:14  And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith. 

• 1Corinthians 15:15  More than that, we are then found to be false witnesses about God, for we have testified about God that he raised Christ from the dead. But he did not raise him if in fact the dead are not raised. 

• 1Corinthians 15:16  For if the dead are not raised, then Christ has not been raised either. 

• 1Corinthians 15:17  And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins. 

4.THE RESURRECTION OF JESUS CHRIST HAS GIVEN US TRUST AND CONFIDENCE TO ALL THE PROMISES IN THE BIBLE. ( THERE ARE AROUND 7000 PROMISES )

• a.) PROMISE OF PEACE AND

COMFORT IN TIMES OF TROUBLES

• John 14:27  Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your                          hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. 

• John 16:33  I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble.                      But take heart! I have overcome the world. 

b.) PROMISE OF PROVISIONS IN TIMES OF NEEDS

• Philippians 4:19  And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus. 

 c.) PROMISE OF HEALING IN TIMES OF SICKNESS

• Luke 6:19  and the people all tried to touch him, because power was coming from him and healing them all.

d.) PROMISE OF PROTECTION IN DANGERS

• 2 Thessalonians 3:3  But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen and protect you from the evil one.

e.) PROMISE OF WISDOM IN TIMES OF DECISION-MAKING

AND FOR SUCCESS

• James 1:5  If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault,and it will be given to him. 

 f.) PROMISE OF STRENGTH TO WITHSTAND AND

OVERCOME TRIALS AND TO DO THE WILL OF GOD

• Philippians 4:13  I can do all things through Christ [8] who strengthens me.

g.) PROMISE OF PROSPERITY AND

SUCCESS ESP ABRAHAMIC BLESSINGS

• Galatians 3:29  If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

• Genesis 12:2  I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will                           be a blessing. 

• Genesis 12:3  I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you."

h.) PROMISE OF MIRACLES

• John 7:21  Jesus said to them, "I did one miracle, and you are all astonished. 

• Php 3:10  I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, 

• NOTE: FAITH IS NECESSARY TO RECEIVE THE PROMISES OF GOD ESP MIRACLE

• Mark 9:23  'If you can'? said Jesus. "Everything is possible for him who believes."
