Cozy~Crafty~ Afternoon

Library Lovers Mystery Series Calling all cozy mystery readers!

We will be starting a book group on Library Lovers Mystery Series starting April 10th, and then

always on the 2nd Wednesday of the month from 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM.

This series follows the main character Lindsey who moves to Briar Creek, CT after graduating. She

becomes the director of the local library and solves murders in her small town. (Perhaps Erica has

another hat to wear as a local detective.)

There is a craft and treat included at the end of each mystery as well.

our very own Carolyn Eaglesham!

Button Maker Drop in Program

Drop in any time between noon and 2pm on March 21st, 28th, and 29th to learn how to make

your own 1” button.

To quote Demmer Design & Construction Committee member Tom Asbeck,

“We can see there is a light at the end of the tunnel – and it is an LED light!”

On December 18th the exterior lighting was installed and lit up the building

for the first time - making these longest nights of the year extra special. The

masons also finished work on the stone fireplace with stone that matches

the outside timbers.

As the construction finishes, January brings us to the next phase, including

installation of shelving, furniture, technology, and maybe even moving some

of the books.

Are you fostering books? Your books should have had their due dates

changed to 3-1-2019. We will begin recalling books once we are mostly

moved in, starting in February. If you have any questions or concerns about

returning books in February, please call the library at 715-546-3391 or

email [email protected].
