I can’t believe how fast my year has gone by. I want to “Thank” all the Auxiliaries who have asked me to be speaker at their Anniversaries and other events. What an honor for me to help celebrate with you. In March, Grand Madam President Judy Johnson will be making her visit to Ohio. Check in this Breeze to see where she will be in your Zone. Let’s try to attend and give her a big “OH..IO WELCOME”!! My schedule for March looks like this:
• Saturday, March 4th, I will be opening the Mrs. Bowling Tournament at Strike & Spare Lanes in Lodi.
• Sunday, March 5th, I will be at Troy (Miami) #971 for their Joint Anniversary with WSP Randy.
• Sunday, March 14th, I will be attending my District #14 meeting at Maumee #2562 • Saturday, March 18th, I will be at Wapakoneta #691 for their Joint Anniversary. Bill Rucker
will be there also. I am going on Friday night and try my luck at bingo. • Sunday, March 19th, Delta is hosting a “Meet and Greet” for Grand Madam President, Judy, at
3pm. • Saturday, March 25th, I’ll be home at Delta #2597 with WSP Randy celebrating our Joint
Anniversary.

I wish to express my deep appreciation for your cards, emails, facebook posts, and phone calls. Jack was a special person who loved working for the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He was asked many times to be a Zone Officer, but that is not what he wanted. He enjoyed working for his friends and gave them his ideas and helping hands. He is gone too soon. VOCA HOME VISITS Hello my Sisters! Our annual visitation to the Barnesville homes will be on April 1st (no foolin') at 11:00 A.M. starting at the Wiley home, 608 Wiley Ave., with a luncheon and then dessert at our 2nd stop--the Main Street home, 320 E. Main Street. It was suggested by PSP Brenda that we meet at the Barnesville Aerie around 10:30 and leave from there. I hope many of you can come. Also, I would like for you Sisters to do some spring cleaning and donate items to the Bazaar table at Convention. I will take these items at any time. Northeast Zone Sisters can bring them to Zone. OHIO STATE AUXILIARY RECOMMENDATIONS Now is the time to be thinking of who you want to represent you in the Ohio State Auxiliary for 2017-18. Please send letter(s) of support for current officers and/or Sisters who you would like to see in the State Auxiliary. If you are interested in being considered for a State Officer, what better way to let it be known but to send in a letter for yourself?! All letters can be either mailed or e-mailed to State Secretary Debbie Sharp. This is a very important opportunity for all of us to let our opinions be known. To have ample time to prepare packets for the Nominating Committee please have your letters to State Secretary Debbie by June 1, 2017, if at all possible. Thank you!

UPCOMING AUXILIARY OFFICERS & AUDITOR SCHOOLS THREE Auxiliary Officers and Auditor Schools have been scheduled for the upcoming months! Based on suggestions we received from past schools, we have lengthened the training to 1 1/2 days. The Auditor and all Officers, except Madam Secretary, will be covered on Saturday, and the Madam Secretary position will be covered on Sunday. PSP Harriet Luke and myself will be conducting the training and we are hoping for great turn-outs! The dates and locations of the training sites are: MARCH 25-26, 2017 - PORTAGE LAKES #2736 - Even though this is close to the end of our fraternal year, we have found a need for this school as there are many new Officers and Auditors asking for help. Also, Sisters thinking about running for an office may find it helpful in making their decision. JULY 29-30, 2017 - ZANESVILLE #302 - This is a perfect time for all new Officers and Auditors to receive training. But ANYONE is welcome to attend. SEPTEMBER 30-OCTOBER 1, 2017 – LEBANON #1395 – NEW LOCATION RECENTLY APPROVED!! If you plan to attend the March session, please complete the attached Registration Form and return to me no later than March 15th so we have adequate time to prepare the hand-outs. You can complete one form for all the Sisters from your Auxiliary attending. IMPORTANT NOTES: There is no cost to attend this training, except for your lunch and drinks, or if you plan to spend the night. You DO NOT have to be an Auxiliary Secretary, Officer, or Auditor to attend! The only requirement is that you are an Auxiliary Sister in good standing!! ALL Sisters are welcome! If the school would cause a financial burden to any Officer or Auditor needing/wanting the training, we hope her Auxiliary would consider help funding the trip. PLEASE NOTE: No attendee expense will be paid by the Ohio State Auxiliary. Sunday's session for the Madam Secretary position will include MMS training. If you have a laptop, feel free to bring it (FULLY CHARGED) as we will be accessing a training file from MMS. If you do not have a laptop, you should be able to share with someone at the training. PLEASE REMEMBER: ALL Sisters can attend ALL the training, OR you can choose to attend just the Saturday or Sunday session. You can also attend ALL THREE sessions if you’d like!
