On March 8th at 6:30pm, Justin Fatica will be at the Retreat Center to give a presentation “Die, Rise, Go!” Please bring a friend!! It’s time for Lay Director and Spirit of TEC award nominations and elections!! The guidelines are in this issue!! Nominations are due in writing by March 13. Send them to teccoordinator@gmail.com. Mega TEC 303 was an experience that we will never forget. Mega not only describes the number of amazing teens we were blessed to share this weekend with, but it also describes the love and joy that was evident on the weekend. We truly experienced God’s love and discovered what “Love Is” in three short days. Each candidate, observer, wheatie, resource, and adult team member gave of themselves so that everyone could encounter Christ in a new, deep, and personal way. We were so blessed to share the weekend with such an amazing group of teens that continue to enrich our faith life. We would like to thank the TEC community for all the prayers, wheat letters, and wheat that was done for TEC 303. We could feel the support at every moment of the weekend. We are humbled to have shared this weekend with amazing group of young Christians that I know will continue to share Christ’s love with all they encounter. - Nick and Brandi Venvertloh, Directors TEC 303

TEC for me originally started out as a weekend trip that was required before confirmation. But it came to mean so much more to me than a requirement. From TEC I learned that no matter what struggles I was having I could tell anyone, and also that God would take care of my struggles. TEC also helped me find who I was and what my relationship with God meant to me. There is so much that has changes in my life since and due to TEC and I hope it does all the same to you. — Maggie Copenhaver, Candidate TEC 303

TEC was a wonderful way to grow in my faith as I was able to experience the powerful was God heals and loves each one of us. Not knowing what to expect, I was a little apprehensive since I was going to be with many people I’ve never met before for 3 whole days. However, once I got there, I was so impressed with how well everyone connected and acted as a big family towards one an-other. Nominations Requested for:

TEC Lay Directors

The TEC board is beginning the process of selecting Lay Directors for the upcoming TEC year, November 2016 - July 2017. We need the help and guidance of you, our TEC Community. We ask that you would pray for the board and all of the potential nomi-nees. Pray that their hearts and minds are open to the call and direction God has for them and the TEC program.

If you know of someone that you feel can take time for this AWESOME task, please send us their name(s) and a little de-scription of them and why you feel they'd be a great TEC Lay Director!

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 25 years of age, Be Catholic, Have been an Assistant Lay Director, Wheat Team Leadership helpful

Spirit of TEC Awards

Each year, Great River TEC recognizes persons who have impacted our local TEC community with a special award called "The Spirit of TEC Award". At a special gathering, we will recognize persons who have impacted our local TEC community through their faith and service. As a Conference and local Center, we honor these individuals with this award. These recipients have shown their dedica-tion and service to TEC, in doing so, have strengthened the spirit of TEC through their witness and example.

Right now we are seeking nominations for this year's recipients.

Please send your nominations in writing with a description of how they represent the Spirit of TEC.

GUIDELINES for SELECTION are persons who:

· embody the experience of the Paschal Mystery · have contributed in a significant way to TEC

· are committed to serving the Church and her youth · generously share their love, faith and enthusiasm

· in short, are a symbol of the Spirit of TEC
