2019 Lenten Ecumenical Prayer Service
This year, The Annual Ecumenical Prayer Service
at Sacred Heart Church will be this Wednesday, March 20, 2019.
Prayer Services will begin at 12 Noon, fol-lowed by a light lunch right after the service.
During the Service there will be an Offering (collection) taken to support Lawrenceburg
Ministerial Association’s ministry!
After the Lunch, for those who are interested, there will be a tour of Sacred Heart Church!

Lent – 2019
During the Lent: there will be a Holy Hour (Adoration) on all Wednesdays, from 6:00 pm -7:00 pm, followed by the Mass at 7:00 pm.
There will be “Stations of the Cross” on all
Fridays of Lent starting at 7:00 pm. There will be adoration every morning
from 6:00 am—7:00 am with Bruce Beckman. All are Welcome to attend. There will be Mass on Tuesday mornings at
8:00 am during Lent. Abstinence (No Meat!) is required on all Fri-
days during Lent for people ages 18-59 . Good Friday requires Abstinence and Fasting.

There are Daybreak booklets which have short
readings for each day of Lent still available at the
back of our church! Please take one, if you have-
n’t got your copy yet!
Rice Bowl
Rice Bowl containers are in the back of church for
our Lenten Almsgiving.
First Penance Please pray for our children who will be mak-
ing their First Confessions on Thursday,
March 28.
SHCCW The Council of Catholic Women will meet on Wednesday, April 3rd at 6:00 pm in the School Cafeteria. All Ladies of the Parish are invited to attend.

We hope everyone has a happy and healthy Spring Break this week (March 18-22). School will be back in session on March 25th, the Feast of the Annunciation.
Fish Fry in Loretto
Loretto Knight of Columbus will have a Lenten Fish Fry (prepared by Pop’s BBQ) on Friday, March 29th from 4:30 - 6:00 pm in the Loretto Sacred Heart School Gym. Adults $12, Children (6-12) $6 and under 6 free.
Have your bridal shower, rehearsal dinner , wedding, and honey moon , all in one place. We also offer Bachelorette Party Packages. The Garrett House provides an intimate setting for small size wed-dings ,corporate dinners, family reunion, and more.

$500 Pro-Life Essay Scholarship Contest
The Lawrence County Chapter, Tennessee Right to Life is an-nouncing their first Pro-Life Essay Scholarship contest. $500 will be awarded to one winner in each of the local High Schools (Lawrenceburg, Loretto, and Summertown). Also, one Homeschool student award will be made.
The contest is open to Lawrence County 12th grade stu-dents and must address one of the following Pro-Life is-sues: Abortion, Infanticide, Assisted Suicide, Euthana-sia, or Stem Cell Research.
Entries must be received by April 23, 2019.
Entries must be between 750 and 1,000 words in a Mi-crosoft Word format using 12 point font and be double spaced with numbered pages.
Entries must include a cover letter that includes: full name, full address, phone number, grade level, school or homeschool attended, and word count.
By submitting an entry the contestant and parent agree that the creative writing is original, but not copyrighted and cite any sources used, and to allow Lawrence County Chapter, Tennessee Right to Life to reprint the winning essay.
Lawrence County Chapter, Tennessee Right to Life will select a winner based on originality, content, and good grammatical form.
