    Fabric Requirements & Cutting Instructions Quilt Size: 77” x 77” Quilt Cutting Instructions Fabric A- Brown Bouquets 8402-0513 3/8 yard

    Cut three 3 ½” x width of fabric (WOF) strips. Sub-cut the strips into twenty-five 3 ½” squares. Fabric B- Green Bouquets 8402-0514 1/3 yard

    Cut two 3 ½” x WOF strips. Sub-cut the strips into twenty-four 3 ½” squares. Fabric C- Gold Large Tossed Leaves 8403-0532 1/3 yard

    Cut two 3 7/8” x WOF strips. Sub-cut the strips into thirteen 3 7/8” squares. Fabric D- Cream Large Tossed Leaves 8403-0540 2 1/8 yards

    Cut (9) 3 ½” x WOF strips. Sub-cut the strips into fifty 3 ½” x 6 ½” strips. Cut (20) 2” x WOF strips. Sub-cut the strips into sixty 2” x 12 ½” strips.

    Fabric E- Gold Tiny Leaves 8404-0532 1/3 yard

    Cut two 3 7/8” x WOF strips. Sub-cut the strips into thirteen 3 7/8” squares. Fabric F- Cream Tiny Leaves 8404-0540 1 1/8 yards

    Cut (9) 3 ½” x WOF strips. Sub-cut the strips into fifty 3 ½” x 6 ½” strips. Fabric G- Rust Tonal Leaves 8405-0511 1 yard

    Cut two 3 7/8” x WOF strips. Sub-cut the strips into thirteen 3 7/8” squares. Cut eight 2 ½” x WOF strips for the binding.

    Fabric H- Green Tonal Leaves 8405-0514 1/3 yard

    Cut two 3 ½” x WOF strips. Sub-cut the strips into twenty-four 3 ½” squares. Fabric I- Red Vines 8406-0511 1/3 yard

    Cut two 3 7/8” x WOF strips. Sub-cut the strips into thirteen 3 7/8” squares. Fabric J- Brown Vines 8406-0513 2/3 yard

    Cut five 3 ½” x WOF strips. Sub-cut the strips into fifty 3 ½” squares. Fabric K- Gold Tiny Flowers 8409-0540 1/3 yard

    Cut two 3 7/8” x WOF strips. Sub-cut the strips into thirteen 3 7/8” squares. Fabric L- Red Flowers & Vines 8407-0511 1/2 yard

    Cut two 3 7/8” x WOF strips. Sub-cut the strips into thirteen 3 7/8” squares. Cut two 2” x WOF strips. Sub-cut the strips into thirty-six 2” squares.

    Fabric M- Purple Flowers & Vines 8407-0535 2/3 yard

    Cut five 3 ½” x WOF strips. Sub-cut the strips into fifty 3 ½” squares. Fabric N- Red Tonal Floral 8408-0511 1/2 yard

    Cut three 3 7/8” x WOF strips. Sub-cut the strips into twenty-six 3 7/8” squares.

    Fabric O- Cream Tonal Floral 8408-0540 2/3 yard Cut five 3 ½” x WOF strips. Sub-cut the strips into fifty-two 3 ½” squares.

    Fabric P- Brown Tiny Flowers 8409-0514 1 3/4 yards

    Cut seven 3 ½” x WOF strips. Sub-cut the strips into seventy-five 3 ½” squares. Cut four 4 ½” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with matching seams and cut two 4 ½” x 77 ½” strips. Cut four 4 ½” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with matching seams and cut two 4 ½” x 69 ½” strips.

    Backing- Cream Vines 8406-0540 7 1/4 yards

    Cut three 85” x WOF strips. Sew together and trim to make one 85” x 85” back. Block Assembly

    1. Place one 3 7/8” Fabric L square on top of one 3 7/8” Fabric G square, right sides together. Draw a line across the diagonal of the top square (Fig. 1). Sew 1/4” away from each side of the drawn diagonal line (Fig. 1). Cut the two squares apart on the drawn diagonal line (Fig. 2) to make two half-square triangles. Trim blocks to measure 3 ½” square to make two Unit 1 blocks (Fig. 3). Repeat to make twenty-six Unit 1 blocks. Only twenty-five blocks will be used.

    2. Repeat Step 1 and refer to Figures 4-6 for fabric identification and location to make twenty-six of each unit, Blocks 2-4. Only twenty-five of each block will be used.

    3. Sew one Unit 1 block to the left side of one Unit 2 block to make the top row. Sew one Unit 3 block to the left side of one Unit 4 block to make the bottom row. Sew the two rows together to make one Unit 5 block (Fig. 7). Repeat to make thirteen Unit 5 blocks total.

    4. Sew one Unit 4 block to the left side of one Unit 2 block to make the top row. Sew one Unit 3 block to the left side of one Unit 1 block to make the bottom row. Sew the two rows together to make one Unit 6 block (Fig. 8). Repeat to make twelve Unit 6 blocks total.

    5. Place one 3 ½” Fabric J square on the left side of one 3 ½” x 6 ½” Fabric D strip, right sides together (Fig. 9). Sew across the di-agonal of the square from the upper right corner to the lower left corner (Fig. 9). Trim away the excess fabric from behind the tri-angle, leaving a ¼” seam allowance. Flip open the triangle formed and press (Fig. 10).

    6. Place one 3 ½” Fabric P square on the right side of the 3 ½” x 6 ½” Fabric D strip, right sides together (Fig. 11). Sew across the diagonal of the square from the upper left corner to the lower right corner (Fig. 11). Trim away the excess fabric from behind the triangle, leaving a ¼” seam allowance. Flip open the triangle formed and press to make one Unit 7 strip (Fig. 12).

    7. Repeat Steps 5-6 to make thirteen Unit 7 strips total. 8. Repeat Steps 5-6 and refer to Figures 13-19 for fabric identification,

    location and seam direction to make thirteen Unit 8 strips, thirteen Unit 9 strips, thirteen Unit 10 strips, twelve Unit 11 strips, twelve Unit 12 strips, twelve Unit 13 strips and twelve Unit 14 strips.

    9. Sew one 3 ½” Fabric O square to each end of one Unit 7 strip to the make the Block One square top row.

  • 10. Sew one Unit 10 strip to the left side of one Unit 5 block. Sew one Unit 8 strip to the right side of the Unit 5 block to make the middle row of one Block One square.

    11. Sew one 3 ½” Fabric O square to each end of one Unit 9 strip to the make the bottom row of the Block One square.

    12. Sew the three rows from Steps 9-11 together to make one Block One square (Fig. 20).

    13. Repeat Steps 9-12 to make thirteen Block One squares total. 14. Repeat Steps 9-12 and refer to Figure 21 for component identification, location

    and orientation to make twelve Block Two squares. 15. Sew six 2” Fabric L squares and five 2” x 12 ½” Fabric D strips together end

    to end and alternating them to make one Sashing Row (Fig. 22). Repeat to make six Sashing Rows total.

    Quilt Assembly (refer to the quilt layout while assembling the quilt top)

    16. Sew one 2” x 12 ½” Fabric D strip, one Block One square, one 2” x 12 ½” Fabric D strip, one Block Two square, one 2” x 12 ½” Fabric D strip, one Block One square, one 2” x 12 ½” Fabric D strip, one Block Two square, one 2” x 12 ½” Fabric D strip, one Block One square and one 2” x 12 ½” Fabric D strip together in that order to make Row One. Repeat to make Rows Three and Five.

    17. Sew one 2” x 12 ½” Fabric D strip, one Block Two square, one 2” x 12 ½” Fabric D strip, one Block One square, one 2” x 12 ½” Fabric D strip, one Block Two square, one 2” x 12 ½” Fabric D strip, one Block One square, one 2” x 12 ½” Fabric D strip, one Block Two square and one 2” x 12 ½” Fabric D strip together in that order to make Row Two. Repeat to make Row Four.

    18. Sew the five rows together in numerical order alternating them with the side sashing rows, to make the Center Block.

    19. Sew one 4 ½” x 69 ½” Fabric P strip to each side of the Center Block. Sew one 4 ½” x 77 ½” Fabric P strip to the top and to the bottom of the Center Block to make quilt top.

    20. Layer and quilt as desired. 21. Sew the eight 2 ½” x WOF Fabric G strips

    together, end to end with 45° seams, to make the binding. Fold this long strip in half, lengthwise with wrong sides together, and press.

    22. Bind as desired.
