These are the general questions!

1.1 Requirements

Microsoft EXCEL - Software (part of MS-OFFICE)

EXCEL-2002 (Office-XP) - EXCEL2007 (XP/VISTA) - ..... upwards compatible

You don´t need to be an expert on EXCEL.The software is user-intuitive - and very easy to use(I would say: recommended for players age 16 - 99 ;)

* 23 hours a day you have the possibility to join the operation as miner, hauler,security.

* Each operation starts after Server-Downtime (SD) and ends at SD of next day(depending on the timezones maybe on same day ;)

* the “round-a-day” - ideology impressed me to name it “circle >> circus”

So the name of that project was born:

General recommendations

The MOPSY should always run in one-and-the-same star system!

Miners can join there any time

All the members of the working teams get payment

The payment is done by the corporation the work is for

The payment is regulated

The “mopsy” will provide each corp with cheap minerals

Requirements to the star-system: a) as many belts as possible (25 min)b) worthful ore (Jaspet, Kernite, Pyrox, or better)c) a station (better)

a POS (if no station)

(within 23 hours of one MOPSY)Haulers can join if neededSecurity-officers can join if needed

i.e. On the alliance building list showing a carrier for SNI ->-> SNI will be the owner of the carrier-> SNI has to pay the costs for the alliance mining OPs-> SNI has to provide the needed BPCs - or pay the costs of/for them

so same amounts for all corps -The payment is average, but fair - and a motivation for all miners/haulers/sec. Officers

much cheaper than on marketSo manufacturing for corp&alliance purposes will be much cheaper for the corporations

So any corporation should be able to afford capital ships or whatever they need

No need to say it is a matter of honour not only taking the chance of gettingcheap ore, but also giving (= sending miners and haulers for the operations).

1.1 Ideology and idea

General rules

Most needed are mining barges

Less experienced players or newbies are recommended to do the hauling work

the only exeption is storing ore in the hangar for contract-purpose(contracting the ore to the supervisor is the last step of any OP)

(it is terrible to explain what and why afterwards .... When such a mistake happens ...By the way: big M-OP-Cs are worth 200 - 1.300 mill ISKso TOP-CONTROLLING-WORK is needed to gain&keep your serious image

Hauler-Semi = less than 22.000 m³ cargo capacity= 50% payment of Hauler-Profi

Security not needed from 1.0 to 0.5that´s why “no payment”

Payment list

Here you get an impression what will be paid for 1 hour of your workdepending on ship-type and security-level of the star system.

The software is designed for exact setting of working time (hours and minutes).

So it matters if you work 1 hour 20 minutes or 1 hour 32 minutes ;)

The final value of the payment is downroundedi.e. Payment would be 1.240.512 -> 1.240.000

That is easier to handle for the supervisors, who will have to type theamounts for payment for each player seperately.

Other corporations or

The logistics work is done by the so-called MINING-OP-COORDINATORS

For their support some EXCEL-Software has been created.

The role of the SUPERVISOR

If a player does both mining and hauling the same time, then he isnot both!

But of course it is possible to do 30 mins miner and next 55 mins hauler ...Then the coordinator has to do more than 1 log for the player ...

No mining or hauling!

MOPCOs should be able to operate both - mining and hauling-profi-ships.When no haulers available they can do that kind of work also.

MOPCOs get a little fee (150.000 ISK per hour TOD (time of duty))

Of course they are normal team members also.So recommended they do mining work - and if necessary then hauling (or security)

This software is used for:

Please put the “install”-file into the directory C:\Games\Antesignani-Alliance\ on drive C:Then doubleclick, enter the password.The directory “Mining-OP-Archive” is then created automatically,the 3 XLS-files and the manual will be copied into the correct directories.No entries in the registry are made!

1.4 Error and informations-messages

To make the software as user-friendly as possible there are severalinformation and error-warning systems implemented

ERROR: Player #2 and #3 >> check message on the and see, that:

Beginning: After Server-Downtime (12.00 EVE)Ending: At Server-Downtime of next day (11.00 EVE)

Maximum duration: 23 hours

Then a new Mining-OP starts!

Of course noone is online for 23 hours normallyso there is room for many coordinators (20 max) to be on duty in one operation.

At the end of his duty the mining-coordinator passes along the EXCEL-file(_running.xls) via Email to the next coordinator.

How?

A) Input the name of the next coordinator (i.e. Testimonial”)>> now the email-link is shown

>> on the email-link and your email browser opens

The the last coordinator sends the file to the supervisor who will finalize the OP.The link is posted on the OP-COORDINATION-sheet and on the EDIT HERE-sheet.

The job of the supervisor is:

At the end of the MOP-C (at Server-Downtime) the “_running.xls”-file isbeing sent to the supervisor.

Finalizing an OP

At the end of the mining-op there is a checklist to do:

1) check if TOD-start and TOD-end-time of all team-players is correctly set2) check if end-of-working-time of coordinators is set3) check if outcome-volume (m³) is set

Set the amount of mined volume (m³) into the field in OP-DATA-sheet.

In this example the outcome is2,15 millions m³

How to check volume data

* check the bar on upper right side

1.7.2 Finalizing an OP

Now it is time to do a correct saving of the file!

1) Press the SAVE-Button to save it as the “_running”-filei.e.

2) Save AsNow open the folder “Mining-OP-Archive” (or however you named it)

A) the operations are automatically and correctly sorted via explorer

B) it is easy to find any operation-report when the files arenamed this way

C) When doing the “minimum-space-formatting for posting (see next page)maybe some lines of the report will be removed.That should NOT happen to the “_running”-file, because thesechanges are destructive (= non-reversible)

That´s why the “_running”-file should always stay “non-mutilated”,while the file in the archive (in our example the file “20072012.xls”)will be best-possible formatted and maybe partially deleted.

When all operation-data are set correctly, then you see a “very special green dataset”on the OP-OVERVIEW-screen.

In case of error(s) several error-indicators appear

Why copy & paste only the values?

How you do it

Because if you do normal c&p then the formats and colours of the cells would

also be copied - but that would look terrible!

Like this:

* Select/Mark the fields as usual (hold left mouse-button and drag a “fence” around

all cells you want to select.

* Now press STRG-C (or right mouseclick “copy” - or menubar EDIT - “copy”)

* Now you do NOT go the normal way with STRG-V to paste .... no no no

* You mark the target-cell and press RIGHT MOUSE-BUTTON >> ENTER VALUES

(in my german client you see of course the german translation “Inhalte einfügen”

But check the marked positions and do the same in your english client.

Overview

When the payment is done,then the supervisor has todo the correct settings.

* editing above - before copy & paste

* editing afterwards(in most cases THIS will be theusual method, cause the paymentis done 10-48 hours after postingthe results on alliance-mail andin the forum

Manual typing “Yes/No” orselecting from the listis possible for each dataset

2 possibilities

Of course it will last a little while until thecoordinator of the corporation will transferthe claimed ISK to the supervisors account.

So maybe it will take up to 48 hours for that.

Anyway - continue with the postings andupdate the file on the server, but leavethe “Payment done” set to NO untilpayment has been transferred and youhave sent it to the players.

For controlling purpose the supervisors nameis saved with the operation he was on duty for.

Remarks for optimized posting results

50 team-members and 20 coordinators could be on duty in one operation.Well - most of the time it is less than that.That means, there are empty fields in the posting - and that doesn´t look professional!

So these colours help you do quickly find out, which datasets can be deletedfor perfect posting.

Mark the dataset whileholding the left mouse-button

After all unused positions have been deleted,the sheet is ready for the posts on EVE-mail and in the forum.

To delete any datasets you may proceed as follows

One next step could be the design of an ONLINE-SCHEDULE-SYSTEM

That means:

1) you log in on the Antesignani-Forms2) you check the available dates (times)3) you enter the date and time when you want to do the coordinator´s work

A big advantage would be:

You know who will send you the data-file for the operation (for you to continue).You know to whom you have to send the data-file after your TOD (time of duty).

Time and acceptance of these idea will show if any stepsfor future will be possible to do.

For now the schedule is only valid for 23 hours.

Hope that this software is useful for you and agood step into a great future of the alliance.
