• Since bolts are produced slower, only analyse bolts and get the answer:

• 1500 bolts in 30 minutes. Thus there are 50 bolts per minutes. Thus to produce 9000 bolts = 9000/50 = 180 minutes however, last 10 minutes will be reduced (you don’t have to give it a rest of 10 minutes in the last instance). Thus we have 170 minutes as the answer.
