We will proactively apply patches and minor firmware upgrades to your devices as required. We monitor vendor announcements for security issues and upgrade devices when new features or functions are required. This will ensure your devices are maintained in line with industry best practice. In the event of hardware failure, we will organise for the vendor to deliver a replacement device, in line with your vendor support agreement. We will use the latest versions of our configuration backup to restore functionality quickly once the hardware is replaced by your on site engineers.

Accumuli Security’s Certified Information Security Professionals will work with the customer to help define and implement a security policy fit for the organisation, and will configure relevant associated devices to monitor and manage the firewalls all year round. Our expert engineers manage the market-leading firewall technologies from Cisco, Check Point, Fortinet, Juniper and SonicWALL as well as Next Generation Firewalls from Palo Alto and Check Point.

Patching And UpgradesOur firewall administrators will proactively monitor vendor announcements for security vulnerabilities and bug fixes. Once applicable patches or upgrades are released, Accumuli will organise for the upgrade to be completed following the Accumuli change management process.

Backup And RecoveryAccumuli Security will make a configuration change in line with a change management process, the device configuration settings will be backed up and stored using version control. If a change needs backing out then the previous version can be restored quickly from the Accumuli CMDB.

Hardware ReplacementIn the event of a hardware failure, Accumuli will organise for the vendor to supply a replacement or to send an engineer to site, in line with your vendor support agreement. Once the hardware problem is resolved, Accumuli will use the latest version of the configuration backup to restore firewall back into live operation.

Accumuli Secure PortalAs an Accumuli Security customer you will have secure access to the portal enabling you to review health, and availability information on your Managed Firewall service at any time 24x7 via a dedicated dashboard. Using this system you can request changes from Accumuli firewall engineer, and view the status of existing tickets. The Accumuli portal provides a wealth of service information that is easy to understand and use.

Our UK based 24/7 x 365 Secure Operations Centre (SOC) will monitor your devices for availability and capacity alerts, which will be escalated in line with the agreed incident handling process. Our proactive monitoring ensures we can alert you when availability or capacity issues occur. Accumuli Security provides the customer Secure portal, which is a secure means of accessing all the information relating to the service. This includes reporting, dashboards and service requests both current and historical.

Should the customer choose to upgrade to the level 2 Firewall Managed Service then the firewall logs are sent into the Accumuli Security Managed SIEM platform for proactive monitoring of unusual trends in activity. Through our 24/7 SOC, we will alert you of potential security incidents that we identify. Our centralised correlation and reporting logic will bring security issues to your attention, without the requirements for you to have a dedicated SIEM implementation.

Configuration And Policy ChangesUsing the Accumuli Secure portal or by phoning the 24/7 Security Operations Centre, customers can request firewall policy changes. Detection Of Unusual Trends In ActivityOur correlation logic will produce alarms when unusual trends in traffic profile occur. Using the agreed escalation process, the Accumuli Security Operations Centre will inform the customer’s contacts via an agreed contact matrix of events.

Monthly Reporting On Security IssuesOur expert firewall engineers will review traffic flows from managed firewalls and produce a monthly reports highlighting the use of any clear text or peer to peer protocols, which should be reviewed and remediated by the customer.
