An above ground or semi-mounded tank needs sufficient space. The tank must be 3m clear of any source of ignition, 1.5m from overhead cables and the area it’s in must be free of rubbish and combustible materials.

Your SupplyTank Maintenance – We’ll look after your gas tank, with regular inspections and checks, as well as maintenance when required.

Automatic top-up

Enjoy added peace of mind knowing you’ll never run out of gas when you choose our automatic top-up service. Your tank will be fitted with an automated telemetry system that constantly monitors your fuel level and sends us a message when it needs filling.

EasiPay PlansWe have designed our EasiPay Plan to help you to spread the cost of your fuel bills throughout the year. You can pay for your full year‘s supply of gas and standing charges in 12 monthly planned payments and Calor will continue to deliver your gas on a regular basis. A fixed amount is processed by Direct Debit on the 28th day of each month.

Declan has a 4-bed dormer house, and small kids. He made the decision to switch from oil to gas, as it’s a better solution for his family. As a father, he likes that gas is clean and safe. Olive owns a large 2-storey house just outside the town. Heating her house was costly due to the inefficiencies of her previous oil boiler. Nigel has a 4-bed semi-detached house. His inefficient oil boiler wasn’t enough to heat the house during the winter months, so the wood-burning stove was always on the go too. Due to a recent change in personal circumstances, Nigel finally decided to switch to gas, and he hasn’t lit the fire since so he’s really noticing the savings. He no longer has to haul briquettes and logs into the house, so heating his home is now much easier and cleaner. He also pays his bill monthly, so there’s no spike in his heating bills during the winter. His only regret is that he didn’t move sooner.

Conor and his family moved from their previous home to a larger 4-bed detached house, with an old boiler. It couldn’t cope with their growing family’s needs for hot water and having enjoyed the benefits of gas before, they wanted the same again. Conor was delighted that Calor could offer them gas, although they’re not on the natural gas network. On their installer’s advice, the family opted for the Vaillant Green IQ. Their big garden easily fitted a bulk tank and the existing boundary wall met gas tank clearances.
