2. Many years ago, there liveda happy duck family, theMallards, who searchedeverywhere for a home. 3. Mr. and Mrs. Mallard finally found ahome in the Boston Park. There theyraised eight ducklings:Jack, Kack, Lack, Mack, Nack, Oack, Pack and Quack. 4. The ducklings had severaladventures in the Boston PublicGarden, and the community lovedthem! 5. The city loved them so much thatthe people of Boston created astatue in honor of the Mallards. 6. Now thatJack, Kack, Lack, Mack, Nack, Oack, Pack, and Quack are all grown up, they tooare raising ducklings in the BostonPublic Garden. There are so manyducklings that you can hardly count 7. All of the cousin ducklings love living in theBoston Public Garden. They swim up and downthe park all day long, splashing each otherand cheerfully quacking. Happy locals andsightseeing tourists visit the ducklings every 8. As fun as it is to live in the BostonPublicGarden, Jack, Lack, Mack, Nack, Oack,Pack, and Quack worry about thesafety of their little ducklings. 9. Nowadays, people arealways hurrying from one place toanother. Sometimes people are sorushed that they litter their coffeedrinks and fast food wrappers. Attimes, the trash will end up in the 10. One day, the large duck familyexperienced something terrifying.The four youngest of all theducklings, Zach, Tack, Wack andGack, were playing a friendly gameof water hide and go seek. 11. As they were playing, Zach got himselfcaught in a plastic soda ring. He wasntable to move his body, and he became veryscared. Tack, Wack, and Gack were alsoscared and didnt know what to do. 12. The parent ducks rushed over tohelp Zach. But they were not ableto do much. 13. A young boy noticed the smallduckling was in distress. Herushed over to help free theduckling. 14. The family was so thankful for theyoung boys heroic actions that theyall waddled out of the water andgave the boy a big duck thank you! 15. Seeing the young duckling trapped in thesoda ring inspired the young boy toorganize a park clean up day. The youngboy got the word out by hanging flyersand telling everyone he knew. Thefollowing Saturday, hundreds of peoplecame to help clean up the park. 16. By the end of the day, the park waslitter free. All of the hard work easedthe minds ofJack, Kack, Lack, Mack, Nack, Oack, Pack and Quack. Now they can let theirducklings play all throughout the 17.
