    The Injectors Rail is high-tech device built with high precision components and in

    normal conditions/use does not need any maintenance. Nevertheless particularworking conditions (like dirty or contaminated fuel, dirty filter or even absence of a

    filter) may require some maintenance, made by trained personnel. We underline inparticular the importance of a very clean working station, in order to avoid small

    parts to enter the Rail (this may cause defects).

    It is highly forbiddento use chemical products or solvent to clean the internal parts

    of the Rail.

    Unscrew the connection ofthe gas temperature sensor

    Unscrew the gas inletconnection

    Unscrew the 4 nuts which fixthe coils on the top of theinjector rail

    Extract the 4 coils from theirhouse

    Unscrew the 4 group,completed with valve centralunit and spring

    Attention:

    The 4 gas

    Before starting cleaning thecomponents, it is primarilynecessary to clean the internaland the ducts of the rails and, bycompressed air, remove any oilysediment or foreign bodies.Carefully clean the parts by usingabsorbing and non-abrasivematerials and afterwards bycompressed air.

    The injectors group disassembling procedure is ended

    Replace the seal O-ring inthe valve holder.

    Use new movingelectromagnetic units andcheck that the seal pad is

    not damaged.

    Check that the new O-ring(see n 2) is correctly placedin its slot on the rear part ofthe moving electromagneticunit.

    Insert the spring in its housingin the moving electromagneticholder, then put the moving

    electromagnetic unit in thevalve holder and check thatthe spring cannot slip out of itshousing.

    Insert the valve holder,together with the movingelectromagnetic unit andthe spring, into its housingon the rail body.The same sequences, asfrom pictures 8 to 13, haveto be repeated for everysingle injector.

    Screw the four valve holders.Tightening 150,2 NmPlease note:It is extremely important totake care of tightening, in order

    to correctly keep the right andproper distance between thevalve and the housing.

    The injectors goup is now readyto be installed in the vehicle.

    The rail re-assembling procedure is ended.

    As soon as the vehicle is turned to gas, carefully check that no gas leaks and/ormisfunctioning occur.In case you had some difficulties during the various assembling phases, pleaseimmediately contact Tartarini Autos after-sale technical assistants.

    Timing:

    Disassembling/Re-assembling in the vehicle 20 min.Maintenance as per pict. from 1 to 7 5 min.Maintenance as per pict. from 8 to 21 10 min.
